Amongst salads, the coleslaw remains to be a very popular kind. Coleslaw consists mainly of shredded cabbage. This salad is made with a variety of seasonings and is generally served with fish and chips and is even used in sandwiches. If you have always loved coleslaw then here are some easy coleslaw recipes you can have fun preparing at home.

Delicious Coleslaw Recipes:
Ingredients
Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
Creamy salad dressing (3/4 cup)
Prepared horseradish (2 tablespoons)
Sugar (3 1/2 tablespoons)
White vinegar (1 1/2 teaspoons)
Dill weed (1 1/2 teaspoons)
Coleslaw mix -1 package (16 ounce)

Preparation:
Take a large bowl and mix some mayonnaise in this along with the creamy salad dressing. Also add the horseradish, sugar, dill weed and vinegar. Now, add the coleslaw to it. You would need to refrigerate this preparation for at least 3 hours. Once chilled, serve immediately.

Frozen Coleslaw Recipe:
Ingredients
Cabbage (1)
Salt
Vinegar (1/2 cup)
Chilled water (1/3 cup)
Sugar (1/3 cup)
Celery seed (1/2 teaspoon)
Seasoned salt (1/2 teaspoon)
Carrot grated (1 small)
Green pepper – grated (1/2)
Onion-grated (1/2 small)
Mustard seed (1/2 teaspoon)
Lemon pepper (1/2 teaspoon)

Preparation:
First, you would need to cut the cabbage into wedges. Then, sprinkle some salt on it and place it aside for an hour. Then add the celery seed and the mustard seed to cold water, sugar, lemon pepper and a pinch of seasoned salt. Bring this to a boil. Let this mixture cool down. Then, add the grated carrot and cabbage along with the green pepper and onion. Blend this preparation with cool vinegar mixture. Mix this well. Chill the coleslaw in the refrigerator and serve chilled!

Sweet and Sour Coleslaw Recipe:
Ingredients
Shredded cabbage (1 1/2 pounds)
Granulated sugar (2/3 cup)
Carrot – shredded (1)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Vinegar (1/3 cup)
Whipping cream (1 cup)

Preparation:
First, place a shredded cabbage in a dish and cover it. This needs to be refrigerated for a couple of hours. Then, add some sugar along with salt, vinegar and whipping cream. Add this mixture with the cabbage and let it blend well. Chill this delicious coleslaw preparation for a couple of hours. Serve chilled.

Basic Coleslaw Recipe:
Ingredients
Cabbage small (1/2)
Carrot – small (1 each)
Granulated sugar (1 tablespoon)
Cider vinegar (1 tablespoon)
Mayonnaise (3 tablespoons)
Half and half (2 tablespoons)
Scallions - finely chopped (2 each)
Celery seed – light (1)
Salt
Black pepper grindings (1 each)
Fresh parsley - finely chopped (1 tablespoon)

Preparation:
First, you need to remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Then, shred these into small pieces. Peel the carrot and trim it as well. This also needs to be grated. Then, combine this with the cabbage. Now, you need to add the celery seeds, granulated sugar, salt and black pepper over the cabbage preparation. Toss all these ingredients well. Add a few drops of vinegar over this mixture. Toss well. This should be followed with some mayonnaise as well. Blend well. Then, add some half and half and blend well again. Refrigerate the whole preparation for an hour before you serve it to enjoy some delicious coleslaw salad!
