Cleaning Your Charm Bracelets of Pandora

In most of the cases, the charms used in the Pandora charm bracelets are made up of sterling silver, 14K gold or murano glass. As the time passes, your bracelet starts exhibiting a natural dullness due to their exposure to heat, humidity, dust, dirt, or water. For this reason it is very important to keep your bracelet clean, and to check its condition every now and then. You do not buy a Pandora charm bracelet everyday, so why not keep it nice and clean so that it lasts forever.

Cleaning your bracelet is very easy, and the process should be kept as simple as possible. You do not need to use chemicals and acids to clean your jewelry; all you need is some lukewarm soapy water. Dip your bracelet in it for about ten minutes, and then take it out. While using a soft brush, preferably a baby toothbrush, brush its surface so that the dirt is properly removed from every corner of the bracelet. Wash it with clean tap water using soft hands, and pad it dry using a soft cloth, for instance, linen or silk.

Some Pandora retailers keep a special cleaning solution at their stores. For a sparkling finish, you can get your pandora bracelets cleaned from your nearest retailer, or simply purchase the solution for your future use. However, make sure that you do not use harsh chemical detergents while washing your bracelet as it may cause a permanent damage to the charms as well the bracelet thread. Hence, detergents and chemical solvents including silver polish and acids should be avoided at all cost, as they can damage the oxidized silver and pearls in your bracelet.
