So shall we move on to know how to clean car interior? Here are some useful tips on the same.

Important Cleaning Tips

Empty It
Firstly de-clutter the interiors of your car. I am sure that a lot of things are placed in it, organized or randomly. So take them out and have a free area to work over. Also take off the extra pillows or other things you have placed in for added comfort.

Vacuum From Top to Bottom
The process starts from vacuuming. Never work on the floor mats and then the top side of your door trim or the roof. Start the process from top and work towards the bottom. Vacuuming is one of the most important tips which you can't skip. Once this is done, vacuum the dashboard, car seat covers and finally the floor. Well, no need to mention that you must work on the carpets by first removing the mats. Wash off the mats and vacuum the carpet. Thoroughly vacuuming underneath the seats needs no mention. For the aforementioned vacuuming, you can use a soft brush. For working on the corners and smaller areas which are difficult to reach with larger brush, use the flared nozzle vacuum tool.

Cleaning Carpet Mats and Holders
Like I mentioned above, wash off the carpet with a car cleaning shampoo. One of the tips is to take them out and wash with a car shampoo followed by running water with high pressure over them. When done, hang them for drying. Now there are trays, cup holders and bottle holders made of plastic. These often become sticky. Simply get a kitchen cleaner and a washcloth. Spray the cleaning product over these areas and clean off with a damp washcloth. Finish by cleaning it with a dry wash cloth.

Ready the Upholstery and Dashboard
These are the two important car parts which you need to work upon while cleaning your car's interior. Take a damp towel and rub the dashboard to prepare it for cleaning. There are various car interior cleaning products available in the market. So pick the one which is specially formulated for dashboard cleaning and upholstery cleaning. Spray the cleaner over dashboard and take a microfiber cloth and clean it thoroughly. Clean the upholstery according to the manufacturer's instructions. Each product has different 'how to use' instructions, so best to follow those written over the bottle.

So do you agree that cleaning car interior is not a tough task? I am sure you will agree once you give it a try. Make sure that you use the right products for the right interior parts. Remember that all cleaning solutions are formulated in a different way are suitable for different surfaces. So do not use a cleaner for leather seats over the dashboard. Also cover all the rubber surfaces and trims while cleaning the interiors using a masking tape. Gather the essential materials, park your car in shade and get started with the task.
