Write your kid's name on a piece of paper. The letters of the alphabet should be at least four inches tall and have double borders of half inch. Now take clay lump and knead it properly to form soft clay lump. Now ask your kid to make long pieces of clay, thick as much as the fingers. Now, form the strips of clay into letters shape, by placing it on the written letters. Teach them once, how to take help of the written letters to have the right shape. Try floating them in water, you will have to experiment with the shape until one floats properly in the water. Make a few such boats.
