Cinnamon Roll Recipes from Scratch

.. With Yeast
Ingredients
- Warm water - 2 cups
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Dry yeast - 4 tsp.
- Eggs - 2
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Canola oil - ⅓ cup
- Flour - 6 cups
In warm water, dissolve yeast and allow it to mix well for a minute or two. Then add salt and sugar to it. After that, add some oil, eggs and 2 cups of flour. Beat the mixture well so that all the contents blends sufficiently. Add 3 more cups of dough and then start with the kneading and add the left over flour. If, while kneading you add more water, then add some more flour. But, make sure that you add little flour every time. After 15 to 20 minutes, roll the dough in such a way that it forms a rectangle. Now, spread some soft butter on it and sprinkle some sugar and cinnamon on it. Now, you can roll this rectangular dough. The rolling should be started from the side which has more width. After the rolling has been completed, cut cinnamon rolls. Make sure that all of them are of the same size. Bake these rolls till they are ready. Allow these rolls to cool down. - Flour - 2 cups
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.
- Baking powder - 4 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Butter - 4 tbsp.
- Brown Sugar - 1 cup
- Cinnamon - 3 tsp.
- Milk - ¼ cup
- Powdered Sugar - ½ cup
This cinnamon rolls recipe does not require yeast. To start with, mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon together. Combine to form a crumbly mixture. Now, in another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Add milk to it and start kneading to form a soft dough. Now make a rectangle of this dough. Make sure that the dough is ¼ inch thick. Spread the mixture, which has been prepared previously, on the roll. After this, start folding this rectangular shaped dough to form a roll. Then, with a sharp knife, cut small rolls of it. Allow these rolls to bake for 20 to 25 minutes at a temperature of 400ºF. Make a mixture of milk and sugar and sprinkle it on the rolls.
