Church Coffee: Which Coffee Should You Use?

"Why in moments of crisis do we ask God for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure."

Starbucks proudly displays this quote on their website and on the cups they hand out to customers. They admit they have handed out millions of these quotes. So this is "The Word" Starbucks is spreading to the world. Not only is it offensive to God but to anyone who believes in God.

So as a church if you are going to support Starbucks with your money - you are endorsing their word. And if you are going to serve their coffee I only ask that you serve it in these cups with the quote so your members can proudly support the Starbucks word too. As they say you can't serve two masters - and you need to take a stand- are you honoring God or money (Starbucks)
