Christmas Wedding Centerpieces

Like the name suggests the centerpiece is the center of attention. Here are some ideas that you can integrate into your wedding as Christmas wedding centerpieces.
Christmas Wedding Centerpieces
Decorations enhance the beauty of any location; you can transform simple wooden benches and tables with just the addition of a nice tablecloth and runner. A dash of color and paper can transmute a fluorescent light into a masterpiece or for that matter you can just roll some satin or crumple some cotton, stitch some buttons or make some tears to create your own style. It is a similar case with Christmas wedding centerpieces where you have the choice to decide what you would like on the table on your wedding day.

Since you will be really busy planning your wedding, I just thought of providing you with some suggestions to make it easier for you to select the appropriate Christmas wedding centerpiece. So now, I will just let the ideas flow…
  • You could use a wreath with a candle placed in the center for a wedding centerpiece. Wrap satin or lace in green and red around the wreath, keeping with the Christmas celebrations.
  • Hmmm… Fresh flowers are an excellent idea to use as a Christmas wedding centerpiece. Flowers are expensive, but add color as well as fragrance and there is no comparison for that. Please remember that while deciding on flowers, select them depending on the size of the table and the number of guests who will be seated there.
  • A large pumpkin candle makes a festive centerpiece. As the light emanates from the candle it creates a warm glow that is completely in contrast to the weather outside.
  • Using candles as Christmas centerpieces is a good idea too. The variety of colors and patterns available in the market makes them an interesting buy. You could use a cut-glass candle stand that will reflect the light beautifully, adding to the décor.
  • Floating candles are my favorite; they add sparkle and light to any occasion and that too with style. So use bowls and fill them with colored water, confetti and artificial flower (you could also add anything you like). Once that is done, float the candles and light them before the reception.
  • Bring out the hurricane lamps and decorate them with flower petals. You could also use Christmas balls.
  • Potpourri is something you can never go wrong with. So pour them into neat baskets and place them on the table.
  • Edible Christmas wedding centerpieces are much in vogue, you can bake them yourself or assort them from the variety available. Fruitcake, candy canes and gingerbread cookies, my mouth is already watering…Yum!
  • Apart from the ones listed above you can also choose porcelain or crystal centerpieces that are available in a lot of designs and colors.
After parting with all these ideas, I would like to sign off by wishing you both "A Merry Christmas and A Happy Married Life!"
