Short Christmas Poems for Boyfriends

You do not have to be Twain, Frost, or Yeats to write a poem. Just write what comes to your mind when you think about him. The poem can be funny or even ridiculous, but make no mistake that your effort will surely be appreciated. As far as possible, try to make up some of your own poetry, but if you really can't, then here are some Christmas poems that are going to help you in a big way. You can either take one of these, or pick some idea from here to write something in your own words for him.

On the eve of Christmas
I'll have you near
Wrap my arms around you
And hold my dear

I'll kiss those lips of wine
As you stand beneath the mistletoe
My heart will follow you
No matter where you go

Merry Christmas My Darling

A Warm Season

Merry Christmas to you, my darling
This year is quickly coming to an end
While another is approaching
While we are busy celebrating
I don't want to forget
To say I love you with a tender feeling
And that my love will be everlasting
I can feel the season warmly glowing
And that's because I know I will be sharing
A Christmas with someone most loving.

I love the fact that I love you
I have loved you from the moment I laid my eyes on you
I love you, whole of you
I now hand you
The key to my heart

Merry Christmas, my Darling

Merry Christmas, Sweetheart!
by Judy Burnette

Merry Christmas, Sweetheart
With you is where I want to be
Yet it seems our lives are complicated
for I am the one not free,
Yet the very best present
is the gift of one's self
I have given you a part of me
that has never belonged to anyone else.
So we can't be together this Christmas
yet our souls are not apart
for I have given you the best part of me
I have given you my heart.

When it's Christmas
I think of all the gifts
That bring me great delight and sweet surprise
But nothing in this world can bring such joy
And can mean so much to me
As you do, when you look into my eyes.

There you have it, some cute, romantic Christmas poems for boyfriends. Now if you ask me about the Christmas poems for my boyfriend, then I would suggest you'd better not, because after reading the poem my boyfriend had a hard time trying not to laugh and keeping a straight face. Of course he loved the effort I took. It went something like this:

Jingle bells, Christmas is here
It's time for joy and fun
Oh what fun is this to have
You as my love of life dear!
Wish you a Merry Christmas

That was the best I could do, but it was from the bottom of my heart. One thing is sure, your boyfriend will definitely love the idea of reading a poem that has been written specially for him, along with his Christmas gift. So don't think twice about the idea. Just choose any of these Christmas poems for boyfriends, or write down something in your very own words, and see the joy on his face this Christmas season. Merry Christmas!
