Christmas Ice Breaker Games
Need some fun Christmas ice breaker games for the party you're planning? Read through the following article and you'll have a wide range to pick from.

Christmas Ice Breaker Party Games
Party icebreaker games means that you need to go with the assumption that the guests don't really know each other and that might hamper the fun a little. But it really does not have to. Here are some of the icebreaker activities that I'm sure the guests will love to play and adding to that, they'll also have learned something about each other.
Who Am I's
This one will be a preliminary round that will get the introductions out of the way instead of having the awkward 'I'm so and so' being done. Hardly anyone ever listens to those any which way. So what you do is get the group to sit in a circle and then each person introduces himself giving the name and something that is a quirky habit or thing like 'I have 12 cats' or 'I only eat red M&Ms'. Now the game begins when a person is tagged. He comes into the center and points to any random person, the person that he points to has to tell the name and the quirky habit of the person sitting on his right. If he gets it right, he can come out and tag another person. If he doesn't, he has to leave the circle. The game continues till there's one left. This is a much more fun way of getting to know people, and it adds a lovely twist to the Christmas party game for groups.
Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger hunts are always fun. Get into the Christmas mode by giving this game a Christmas twist. Place Christmas related items like a Santa hat, miniature Christmas trees, stars etc all over the house and yard before the party starts and the guests start pouring in. Then when the guests arrive, get them divided into sections and ask them to get the items. The team with the highest number of items, wins. You could even send them on an original scavenger run with them having to find quaint little objects on the list and having to do tasks for the same. That is as much fun for a Christmas party game for adults and children.
Guessing Stocking
Get some stockings and put in several gifts that have been wrapped into these. Make sure that there are quite a few gifts in there. When the guests arrive, depending on the number, either divide them into teams of two or have them play the game individually. Give the gifts-filled stocking to the guests along with a notepad and a pen. When the music starts, the guests have to retrieve the gifts and guess what the gift is, then make a note of it. They can only do this while the music plays. As soon as the music stops, they have to stop writing. This cycle continues for a minute or so. After this time period is over, the team or person who has got the maximum number of correct answers will be declared the winner.
Quiz Game
Draw up a Christmas trivia game of Christmas related things. Like trivia from movies, 'Christmas Facts' questions, Christmas carols and the like. Then get the entire group around and have a classic quiz session. Always one of the most fun Christmas party ice breaker games ever.
Dressing Up Santa
How about a fun Christmas game for adults? Divide the people present at the party into equal numbers and then divide them into teams. Each team is given a station (or a small area) that has the essentials of a Santa costume. What they need to do is allot a person from their group who will be Santa and then dress him up in the Santa gear. They'll be given a calculated time like 3-5 minutes. Whichever team uses most of the items and comes up with a neat looking Santa, wins the competition. Alternately you can use the same idea to decorate a Christmas tree, but miniature versions, of course. This is one of the most fun Christmas party games for kids as well, by the way.
These were some of the most simple, yet some of the most fun Christmas ice breaker games that you could use at your Christmas party. Just try these and see the fun that ensues.
