Christie Brinkley Forgives Husband’s Mistress
Supermodel Christie Brinkley has reportedly forgiven Diana Bianchi for having an affair with her husband, Peter Cook, which eventually destroyed their marriage.

Brinkley, 54, reportedly told reporters that she wanted to let Bianchi know that she has forgiven her for her role in the demise of her marriage to Cook. Brinkley said, "I’d just like to say after two days of testimony that I can’t help but think about Diana Bianchi, and I want her and her family to know that I feel really badly for them. I feel bad for her and I forgive her completely." Brinkley added, "She was manipulated." Bianchi reportedly apologized to Brinkley’s daughter, Alexa Rae Joel, outside the courtroom Wednesday. A source said, "Diana said, ‘I am sorry for the pain I have caused you and your family. Alexa then hugged her and said, ‘We have all been through a lot.’"
The divorce proceedings between Brinkley and Cook, 49, have reportedly been very tough on her. She said Thursday was "really difficult reliving all the horrors (of what happened two years ago)." The divorce trial began Wednesday and is shaping up to be a bitter battle between the two. Two years ago Brinkley found out that Cook was having an affair with the then 18-year old Bianchi. She filed for divorce shortly after finding out about the affair.
Brinkley has been married four times. She was married to Jean Francois Allaux from 1973-1981. She married singer Billy Joel in 1985 and divorced in 1994. The couple has one daughter, 22-year old Alexa Rae. Brinkley married developer Ricky Taubman later that year and they split shortly after she gave birth to their son, Jack Paris. Cook adopted Jack after his marriage to Brinkley in 2006. Brinkley and Cook have a 10-year old daughter, Sailor Lee. Both Brinkley and Cook are seeking sole custody of the children.
