Christ Exalted - the Heir of all creation!

From the insignificant insects that we don't even know they exist, to the infinity of the universe, God appointed Jesus Christ as heir of them all. Sooner or later we leave this world anyway and it is safe to make a contract with Jesus so we could have a place in His House for eternity!
If we take a look at the life of Jesus Christ we will see that He lived a life of humility, He left Heaven's glory and came to earth to take on the form of the very thing that He had created, then Jesus began to serve those which He created. To the human mind such a thing is almost incomprehensible, we don't understand it, it is like us making some markings on a piece of paper and then becoming one of those markings and serving those markings so that they do not get thrown into the garbage can.

When you place a human beside God, its like, we are absolutely nothing, we might as well not even exist, but Christ came and humiliated Himself for us, we can get some valuable lessons about serving others from the life of Jesus.

What I will look at now is the result of that humiliation the result of His coming for us...and, no, it was not death at the cross.

"Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool." Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." Acts 2:29-36

It is a rather long portion of scripture but I think that the reader can see why I had to put the whole thing in, a little history was necessary to lead up to the last verse:" Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

Here we can see one of the results of the humility of Christ, He came and they murdered Him, despite the fact that Jesus came to earth for them; He died for their sins.

There are a few things that I would like to draw the reader's attention to: Jesus is now at the right hand of God, one day his enemies will become his footstool (they will be destroyed), He is made Lord and He is made Christ.

Christ is made the king of all things... but in these last days, He has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. "Hebrews 1:2-3

Just think about that for a moment, think of the universe and all that is in it, there are so many things that mankind has not even discovered yet, think about how little of space has even been explored, it is beyond the capacity of human imagination to even realize how big this universe is, and just think, Christ is the heir of it all, He is sitting right now at the right hand of God, exalted, Lord and King!

Personally, I think that it is truly amazing that He came down and died for a little nobody like me, the heir of everything that is, thought of me, and do you know what, he thought of you too. Christ came and died for the whole world, not just a part of it, salvation and Heaven is for everybody, we just have to let down our ignorance and accept what Christ did for us, it is as simple as that.
