Kali Bowyer said Monday that she is not 100% sure that Rock fathered her 13-year old son, Jordan. Last month Rock finally agreed to take a paternity test after Bowyer went to the tabloids claiming that he fathered her son. Monday Bowyer said, "If I were 100 percent positive I would not have requested a DNA test. I would have gone to the lawyers and courts for a child support order. It’s hard enough for a parent of any child to seek such a test, let alone someone in the public eye."
Rock and Bowyer reportedly had a brief romance in the early 1990’s. She has claimed that she has tried to get Rock to take a DNA test for the past ten-years to help determine paternity. She has denied that she is seeking a "huge pay out" for herself and claims that he son suffers from seizures and hopes that if Rock is the father there will be something in his medical history that will help doctor’s figure out what is triggering the seizures. Bowyer said, "Any parent who has a child laying in an [emergency room] bed would seek out paternity when faced with the situation."
Rock, 42, did admit to a "limited relationship" with Bowyer and agreed to the test. He has reportedly said that if he is the father he "desires to contribute to the support, maintenance and education" of the boy. There has been no word on when the test will take place or when the results will be in. Rock has been married to his wife, Malaak, for 10 years and the couple has two children; Lola, 4, and Zahra, 2.
