Chris Kattan’s Wife Files for Divorce

Kattan and Tutt separated after eight weeks of marriage and he filed for a legal separation. At the time, his publicist, Jill Fritzo, insisted that the couple had just "separated for the moment" and there were "no plans for divorce at this time." Tutt filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday seeking dissolution of their brief marriage. She cited "irreconcilable differences" for the reason for the split, but it has not been revealed the real reason for the sudden break-up.

Kattan, 37, and Tutt, 31 were married on June 28 in Yosemite Valley, California in an intimate ceremony. They met at a birthday party in 2005 and began dating. Kattan has called Tutt, a model, "kind, sweet, and very beautiful" on his website in August 2005. He also said that they were very alike and that she made him happy. He popped the question in 2006 at her grandmother’s home in Gainesville, Texas on Christmas Eve.

Kattan was a regular on Saturday Night Live from 1995-2003. Kattan appeared in movies such as A Night at the Roxbury, Undercover Brother, and Corky Romano. He voiced the character of Walter Melon in 2007’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. Most recently he wrapped the pilot episode for "Game Show in My Head," a new game show in which the contestants given a small earpiece in which Kattan gives them outrageous tasks to complete on the street in front of total strangers. The tasks get wackier and harder as the game goes on and people are competing for $150,000.
