Choosing the Best Holiday Destinations for Your kids
When it comes to choosing a vacation spot that the entire family will enjoy, you don’t have to look further than the good old US of A. Whether you’re’ looking for beach side fun, sightseeing, theme parks, nature reserves and wildlife parks, or a cultural tour of the country, there are enough options in the country to keep adults and kids happy.

Here are some picks for a great family friendly holiday.

Boston

There’s more to Boston than just a tea party. The Skywalk Observatory is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, and offers spectacular views from its vantage point 700 ft above the ground. There’s a historical exhibit, a restaurant and shopping mall on site. Boston Duck Tours offer visitors a fun way to get around on water, and the city’s pizzerias and patisseries are legendary. If you run out of things to do, you can always head over to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox play.

San Diego

If your kids need one reason to visit San Diego, just mention the word zoo. The San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park houses 4000 species of endangered birds and animals including giant pandas from China. Balboa Park has another acclaimed zoo, a photography museum, an aerospace museum, and an art museum.

Orlando

No kid would say no to a visit to the Magic Kingdom to visit Mickey and the gang. Head over to Universal Studios to see special effects from the Jaws movies, Revenge of the Mummy and others. At the Islands of Adventures, kids will be mesmerized by cartoon characters, comic book heroes brought expertly to life using highly sophisticated imagery and roller coaster rides.

Washington DC

Give your child a sense of history with a trip to Washington DC. The nation’s capital houses most of the buildings and landmarks he will learn about in school. Remember, security restrictions are always changing at the White House and Capitol Hill. Be informed before you go visit. The National Mall is a two mile stretch of parks, museums, and monuments and cultural attractions. The summer months tend to be the busiest, so if you can find another less busy season to visit, grab it. Many of the museums have temporary exhibits dedicated to particular periods of history or specific cultures, a treat for kids.
