Choices? Chapter 7 Jakes Wedding!

''What movie do you want to go see, Mimi?''
Mimi was Kyles pet name for me. He'd made it up Sunday.
I didn't really want to see a movie. So I pulled his face down to level with mine and whispered:
''I don't really care cause we're not going to be watching it.''
He smiled and walked up to the counter and asked for two tickets to the movie When Pacifists turn. I was practically choking on my own laughter as we walked in. We settled in to the corner seats at the back and didn't catch a word of the movie.

As we walked back to my apartment which was closest. I realized , Kyle could probably help me with my research as he owned my heart. So I asked him if he would. He agreed. We went into my apartment and finished what had started in the Cinema before doing our research.
We found the scientific reasoning for love but I didn't find it helpful it wasn't from the heart. Other people opinions didn't matter either. It had to come from me.

Mona had asked me to be a bridesmaid for the wedding so Kyle and I stayed at hers and Jakes house at Thursday. We were leaving the Sunday after. I hadn't brought Kyle to World were most God's and Goddess' live so he was amazed by how different things were here. He was particularly amazed that angels didn't look that different to humans except for the wings of course. On Friday night one of Jakes groomsmen, Shaun's wife went into labor. The baby still hadn't arrived the next morning so Jake asked Kyle to step in as Shaun had been meant to walk in with me to the top of the hall.

It was a lovely ceremony, Mona looked gorgeous in a thin strap cream dress, it had tiny gems in the skirt part which glittered in the light, the bodice was a simple stich flower design. The straps were whiteish Cream ribbons cut thin. Her veil had three layers. Jake looked happier then I'd seen him. His face just lite up when he was told he could kiss his bride. Being who he is, he decided to dip her while kissing her and when that was finished he got down on his knees and hugged her stomach. Everyone laughed even my father,he was in a good mood cause of the baby. He hadn't been happy when he'd seen Kyle though but hey, Not my problem. Kyle and I had barely seen each other since we'd arrived. So we slipped away early on Saturday night when everyone was still dancing to go up to my room.

It had been two weeks since the wedding and we were no closer to how to make my father believe. Kyle was over at mine so much that he was basically living there. Family Joke! Getting a bit old now! I still didn't get what they meant by from the Heart. I'd tried that when I was younger, my definition of Love and it hadn't worked! It was just Gibberish to me. I needed to find out what they meant. I had sixty five days left. It didn't feel like nearly a month since I made the deal with my father. When I spent time with Kyle , I lost track of time. I was going to do this though. I had to for Kyle.I couldn't lose him. Suddenly I felt him kiss my neck from behind. I turned and kissed him back. He pulled me tightly to him and kissed me with a lot of passion.
''Oh dear lady! Have mercy on me! Please? I have not gotten you in your bed in hours!"
I laughed at himm, Kissed him again and said:
"Just the one!"
"Well it seems like lots of em! Please''
''Well since I do love you and hate to see in Pain "
I looked in the direction of his crotch very deliberately and he grinned.
"I suppose that I will take pity an"
I didn't get the rest of what I was saying out as his mouth covered mine and he stopped counting the hours.

I only had fifty five days left and I had nothing, notta! I was beginning to panic. Okay! I was way past the beginning I was flat out sacred that I would fail. I couldn't lose Kyle. I would die first. I wouldn't be able to
kill him. At least my father couldn't prevent a marriage from taking place anymore. If I succeeded I could make Kyle immortal to join me for forever but he to marry me to for that to happen as that was the ceremony. But first I had to find my answer. I didn’t 't understand, I'd told my father the definition of Love before and he hadn't listened.

Melissa was still worried I could tell. I probably wasn't helping distracting her all the time but I couldn't bear to not be around her. I felt afraid that something would happen to separate us, and I nearly always started hyperventilating when something mentioned leaving her alone. She'd told me that there was a way for us to be together forever. She didn't tell me how though. I was going to ask her to marry me in few weeks. I didn't doubt for a minute that she couldn't do this. I believed in her. She was determined to this and she would.
