Choices Ch 12 Mills and Boon

Chapter Twelve

"I do."
The two words that joined my soulmate and I together, for all eternity. When Kyle said them and I repeated them we were both beaming and I was crying. Nothing else mattered. Kyle and I now belonged to each other. The only thing that could separate us would be death. Even though we were immortals we could still be killed. We just wouldn't die of old age or illness. So I still had to complete the deal with my father.

We decided to tell my family tomorrow after our "wedding Night". It would of most likely of been easier to tell them today but we wanted to have some alone time first. We were still going to dinner with my new family-in-law so we would tell them then. Neither of us were looking forward to either conversation. I could imagine them.
"Mom, guess what? Kyle and I got married yesterday without a single member of family there! Great news, right?......Mom?..............Mom are you okay?"

"Hey beautiful."
I giggled. So unlike me. Kyle had come up behind me and whispered in my ear the soft breathe he realized as he did so tickled.
"Hey Handsome."
I smiled as I turned around and kissed him. It began as a peck, but grew into a desperate, yet erotic dance. We were both aware that our time was running out and were both trying to ignore the nearly empty timer hanging over our heads. I needed to find the answers and I needed to find them quick.

"Excuse me?"
The shop "helper" turned around. She had an annoyed look on her face, the one that said i-have-waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy-better-things-to-do-right-now. Figures.
"Yes?"
She spoke with a sickly sweet voice that annoyed me to the pits of hell.
"Could you tell me what section the romance books are in?"
She glared at me.
"This way."

I'd been going over the romance books for an hour or so when I found it. The answer! It didn't say everything I needed but it helped. Thank the Creator for Mills and Boon.

I didn't understand why I hadn't thought of it before! I mean especially with my parents being who they are! It had been several weeks since Kyle and I had told our families we were married and we only had a few days left. I would go get Kyle and then we would go to speak to my father straight away.
