Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

2 cups flour
¾ cup mayonnaise
½ cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ tsp baking soda
Preparation
- First preheat the oven at 350°F.
- Sieve together cocoa, flour salt and soda.
- Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, vanilla and water in a mixing bowl.
- Add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and stir it well until blended well.
- Pour the batter into greased and floured cake pan. Bake it at 350°F for about 25 minutes.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup coarsely chopped dates
1 tsp vanilla
6 tsp grated unsweetened chocolate
Preparation
- Grease and flour the baking pan. Preheat the oven at 350°F.
- Add baking soda in boiling water in a small bowl and stir it well until soda get dissolved. Then add chopped nuts and dates to it.
- In a large bowl, beat sugar and mayonnaise using a mixer at a low speed.
- Add vanilla and chocolate to this mixture. Beat until it blends well.
- Then gradually mix the flour, until it becomes smooth.
- Pour the batter into grease cake pan and bake it for about 45-50 minutes at 350°F.

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp cocoa
Brown sugar frosting
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup butter or margarine
1 ¾ cup sifted confectioner's sugar
2 tbsp milk
Preparation
- Preheat the oven at 350°F. Grease and flour the baking pan.
- Combine together flour, cocoa, sugar and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, water and vanilla to it. Beat it at medium speed until well-blended.
- Pour the batter into the baking pan.
- Bake it at 350°F for about 30-35 minutes. Then allow it to cool completely.
Now let's prepare the frosting.
- First melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar and cook it stirring continuously, until it becomes bubbly.
- Remove the mixture from heat and then add milk to it.
- Then gradually add confectioner's sugar. Mix it well, until it achieves a spreading consistency.
- Immediately frost the cake.

- First, combine together flour, mayonnaise, cocoa, water, baking soda, vanilla and salt. Mix it well.
- Pour it into the greased baking pan.
- Combine together chocolate chips, brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle them over the top of the batter.
- Bake it at 350°F for about 30-35 minutes.
