Chocolate Martini Recipes
Martini got its name from a cocktail drink named Martinez. Whether it's appletini or chocolate martini, they are delicious and enticing. Here are some simple chocolate martini recipes that will surely excite your taste buds.
Chocolate Martinis
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups chocolate liquor
- 1/4 cup raspberry liquor
- 2 to 2 1/2 cups chilled vodka
- Chocolate syrup
- Sweetened cocoa
Stir the vodka and liquors together. Chill it for at least 1 hour. Fill the martini glass with ice, leave it for 5 minutes and toss away the ice. Dip rims of glass in the chocolate liquor and cocoa. Pour the mixture into the glass and serve.
White Chocolate Martini Cocktail
Ingredients
- 5 or 6 white chocolate chips
- 1 part vanilla vodka
- 1 part heavy cream
- 2 parts Godiva White Chocolate Liquor
- Ice
In a martini shaker add vodka, white chocolate liquor, cream and ice; blend it well. Pour the mixture into the martini glass and add white chocolate chips (make sure they sink to the bottom). Your drink is ready to serve.
Funky Monkey Chocolate Banana Martini
Ingredients
- 2 ounces score banana vodka
- 1 ounce Crème de cacao
- 2 tablespoons chocolate ice cream
- 1 tablespoon chocolate milk
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
- Ice
In a shaker, add banana vodka, crème de cacao and ice; shake well for 1 minute. Add 1 tablespoon of ice cream to your martini glass. Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the ice cream. Now, add chocolate milk to the shaker and give it ten shakes. Pour the martini into the glass and serve.
Hot Tube Martini
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. chocolate vodka
- 1 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
- 1 oz. Kahlua coffee liquor
- 1 splash cream
- Cocoa powder Ice
Combine all the ingredients and ice in a shaker. Rim the martini glass with cocoa powder. Pour the mixture into the glass and serve.
Sweet Basil Chocolate Martini
Sweet basil and chocolate is a unique combination. Unlike most chocolate martinis, this is not too sweet but has a wonderful, velvety texture.
Ingredients
- 12-16 fresh sweet basil leaves
- 4 ounces dark hot chocolate chips
- 3 ounces vodka, Hangar One
- 8 ounces boiling water
- a twig of fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Ice cubes
Mix the basil in a cocktail shaker or pint glass. Add the hot chocolate chips and boiling water into the shaker. Stir until the chocolate chips melt, and let it cool to the room temperature. Add vodka and ice, and shake well. Pour the mixture into chilled martini glass. Before serving garnish it with fresh basil leaves.
You can double, triple or quadruple these recipes and entertain a large group. These recipes are quick to make and will make you the host with the most! Chocolate martinis can also be served as a dessert after dinner. Personally, I would prefer to have these chilled martinis on a hot Sunday afternoon.
