Chocolate Cake Recipes from Scratch - Simple Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

All-purpose flour - 3 cups
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 cup
Baking soda - 2 teaspoons
Salt - ½ teaspoon
Water - 2 cups
Baking powder - ½ teaspoon
Softened butter - 1 cup
Eggs - 4
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
White sugar - 2 cups

Directions

Grease a round cake pan with some butter and preheat the oven to 350° F. In a glass bowl, add the cocoa powder and boiling water. Whisk this into a smooth mixture and let it cool. Then, sift the salt, baking soda, flour, baking powder into this mixture, stir well and keep aside. In another glass bowl, mix the softened butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence into a smooth mixture and add it to the mixture of flour and cocoa powder. Canola oil - ½ cup
Eggs - 3
Sugar (powdered) - 2 cups
Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Chocolate pudding mix - 1cup

Nuts (chopped) - ¼ cup
