Chinese Love Horoscopes
How does one look at love compatibility based on the Chinese horoscope system? Read on to have a brief overview of this system…
It is said that Buddha once invited all the animals from the forest to a meeting. But, only 12 animals showed up. He gave each animal a year, and said that every person who was born in the year of that animal would possess the inherent qualities of that animal.
Chinese horoscopes are also governed by 5 elements, namely Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each element is connected with a planet: Jupiter to Wood, Mars to Fire, Saturn to Earth, Venus to Metal, and Water to Mercury.
Thus, Chinese astrology follows a 60 year cycle which is a permutation and combination of these 12 signs and the 5 elements.
