Preparing a Cheerleading Dance Routine
Before choreographing cheer dance routines for a competition or game, keep in mind what your judges or audience is looking for. Use counts to minimize the difficulty of the dance steps and don't dance as a full squad in the middle, rather choreograph small pockets of the squad separately. The End of the Routine
Just like your beginning, the end should also leave a lasting impression on the audiences. Although your team members will be tired, there are different ways through which you can have a strong and impressive finish. Keep the dance moves clean and crispy and finish the routine with an easy pyramid formation.

A well-organized or polished routine is where all cheerleaders move in sync on every single count. Hence ensure that all movements are sharp and clean and on the right count. Improper arm, hand or foot positioning, and loose or bent bodies will make the routine look sloppy. Every member should kick, jump or lean at the same height and angle, so devote enough time to practicing especially if the routine has more stunts.
