Cheap Tablet PCs

The year has just about begun and the gizmo scene has already been invaded by a deluge of tablet PCs manufactured and marketed by well-known electronic gadget brands! If you're looking for inexpensive options, you may want to consider the following suggestions.
The iPad no longer holds its monopolistic position in the tablet PC section of computer stores anymore! From HP to Toshiba, Motorola to Dell, everyone's got something similar to offer today! It's almost close to a year since the first iPad version was launched in April last year! For those who are not that well updated about Apple's relationship with tablet computers, iPad was not the first tablet computer that was part of the Apple legacy. The first Apple tablet computer to hit the market was the not-so-well-known Newton MessagePad which was launched in the year 1993. While the primary input interface remains the interactive touch screen, almost all tablet PCs today are equipped with virtual keyboards and they also come with options for connecting with Bluetooth keyboards and other removable keyboard alternatives. Some tablets also come equipped with handwriting recognition tweaks so that interacting becomes easier, making the gadget more user-friendly.

Now that so many other players have entered the tablet computers market, price and variety are no longer a constraint for gizmo freaks and other interested parties. With the large number of brands and an even wider variety of models available, we can easily say that as on today, you can find tablet computers in a huge price range that can easily be accommodated by a modest budget. Let's take a look at some brands and models of the cheap tablet PCs and find out what features make them worth the money spent for them.

It currently comes in a basic black color and you also get an 8 GB integrated flash memory. The accessories that come with it include a power adapter and a 1 x USB cable. Besides these, all other basic tablet features are present in this one including an excellent touch screen interface, microphone and speakers. This is undoubtedly one of the most cheap tablet PCs in US.

If you want a really inexpensive bargain, this Android model really takes the cake! At just $223, you get the assurance of Android quality for web browsing and multimedia. Maylong Universe M-150 Tablet
At $95, this candidate hits way below dirt! Indeed, this Android OS enabled tablet is by far the cheapest notebook in the tablet computer section and has all the usual trims of competing models such as 800*480 resolution, 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, 0.3 megapixel digital camera, inbuilt speakers, 7.5*4.6*0.3 dimensions and a really light weight. However, in line with its price, this model is not as robust as its more expensive counterparts marketed by Motorola, Samsung and Apple. It may well be crowned as the cheapest tablet laptop of the year but it would definitely come with a handle with utmost care tag!

Some of the other models that can be mentioned under the inexpensive tablets section may include the Asus Epad, the Velocity Micro Cruz E-Reader, the Open Pad 7 Inch and the Kyocera Echo. The Kyocera Echo, however, is not a tablet computer in the proper sense. It is a dual touch screen PDA which can open up and function as a tablet if you want it to! All the tablet computers models suggested in this article are priced below $300, as on the day I am writing this article. These prices are approximate and are subject to change. So, now that you have some idea on what you're getting for less than $300, take your pick from among these budget-friendly beauties and experience advance computing convenience at great style!
