Charlotte North Carolina is growing by leaps and bounds every year and according to the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, by the year 2026, it is expected that there will be 100,000 people living in the center city, and 4.2 million in the immediate area.

Downtown Charlotte is home to residential neighborhoods, office and business space, as well as the Bank of America Stadium, where the Carolina Panthers, NFL team plays.

On the north side is NoDa or "North Davidson". This is the arts district of Charlotte NC, and is known for its collection of funky galleries, coffee shops, and music venues. Recent years have seen increased residential development, but this area, once home to textile mills and worker’s residences has maintained its historic character.

Dilworth is one of the oldest of Charlotte’s residential neighborhoods, and was one of the first streetcar neighborhoods. The streets which are lined by restaurants, business, and shops have come under the pressure of development. Piece by piece, home by home, bits of Historic Dilworth are being designated are historic areas, and are being protected.

Home to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, University City is a bustling center for scholastic achievements, and nighttime revelry.
