Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Welcome Twin Boys
On Saturday, Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen gave birth to twin boys, Max and Bob. Both are reportedly doing well.
Charlie Sheen is once again one of the most successful actors in Hollywood and now it appears that his personal life is also about to get even more interesting. Sheen and third-wife Brooke Mueller welcomed twin boys on Saturday and the couple will now begin their new life as a family. Sheen now has five children - two with Mueller, two with Denise Richards, and a 23-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
With the continued success of Two and a Half Men, it is likely that Sheen's new children will enjoy almost as much face time as his children from his marriage to Richards.
Sheen is the son of actor Martin Sheen and the half-brother of Emilio Estevez. He rose to fame during the 1980s with roles in Platoon, Wall Street, Young Guns and Major League, among others. He was also always comfortable spoofing himself and his characters, playing roles in Men at Work and Hot Shots.
With Two and a Half Men as a ratings juggernaut, Sheen is back in the mainstream and has overcome some of the repeated transgressions of his youth. During the 80s and 90s, Sheen was often in the news for problems with drugs and alcohol. His substance abuse problems routinely led to other run-ins with the law, including prostitution and domestic violence charges.
The success of his sit-com has given him a new chance to establish a fairly normal and successful celebrity lifestyle. It remains to be seen how well he will be able to manage his latest run of success with his new family responsibilities.
