Chapter 7 - Old Memories and the Capture
Here's chapter 7, But I haven't been getting comments, So not quiet sure if it's good or not.
"Let me tell the story, Please?" Dominic begged Zhen. "Afraid I might spill something you don't want said?" Zhen asked. Dominic shook his head. "I have no secrets that cannot be shared" Dominic said. "Okay, then by all means. And I shall add on if you forget" Zhen said. "Well, It started back when I was still young. Zhen and I use to spend hours together. Eventually, We ended up falling in love. Zhen and I were... close at the time. But things happened. He cheated, And we broke up. That's when Zhen decided to leave and we haven't seen each other ever since" Dominic said. "He short formed it, but that is the basics of it" Zhen said. I looked at them. "You kept this secret from me, How could you? I mean it's completely absurd, insane and ugh" I said. "Celina, Relax... And you don't even know what absurd means" Zhen said. I looked down. "Doesn't matter, you left me out of the loop, and kept more secrets from me" I said. I was so angered that I walked out the room and then run down the steps.
As I quietly reached the road, Something felt off. The wind became cold and the air grew thick. A slim, pale girl walked towards me. She had long blonde hair with the deepest blue eyes. "Who- Who are you?" I asked. " I am Christy, Do you not recognize your own dearest sister?" The girl asked. I slowly started to back away. " It's not use Princess, I have you surrounded, Such a pity those boys didn't keep an eye on you. The throne shall be mind" She said in a whisper. Then I felt tight arms grasp my body tightly. My air flew out of my lungs and everything became black.
I awoke to the feeling of cold stone under my body. As I opened my eyes, I realized I was locked in a cell. The only light in here was a small candle in the corner. " So you've awake, Dear princess, Or shall I just call you Celina now?" Ask the familiar voice. I looked to see Christy peering intently into the cell. "They'll come for me" I croaked, Not realizing how dry my throat was. "Now, Now, Let's not get feisty. Would you like a drink of water?" She asked. I tried to manage out a yes, But settled for a simple nod instead. She's slipped a water bottle into the cell. " Drink it, But be wise. It will be the only thing you drink for three days" Christy said with a smirk. I took a small sip and then put the bottle down. " I bet you didn't know you weren't normal. Dad erased all that part of your memories. He figured it would be safer. But he did nothing to keep me safe. It was always you. He was quick to get rid of me, Throw me aside" Christy said in an angered tone.
I could feel the true pain that was inside the words she was saying. Though it didn't give her the right to keep me locked up in here, To treat me as a slave. She continued with her words, " You were his favorite, But after today, I shall gain my rights again. They will all believe you are dead. I shall become queen." She said. I looked at her then frowned. " Do you really want all this trouble, It's not easy being royalty. Your expected to do as your told, To follow the rules, Dress pretty and look exquisite. Nobody would accept you otherwise" I said. She glared at me. " You do not understand the power behind it. The way I could make the world become my minions, To slave them all and make them mine" She said. I had to admit, she truly scared me.
Christy stood up. "GUARDS!" She yelled. Two men came over to the cell and each stood on a side. Christy walked away and disappeared. " So... She's crazy eh?" I said to the guards. Neither said a word nor moved. I sighed and sat on the hard bench. I felt my pocket and realized I had my phone. I pulled it out and checked for a signal. One bar, That should be enough... Hopefully. I dialed a number and made a call. " Hello" Said the voice on the other end. "Hi" I said in a low voice. "Where are you?" Asked the person. " In a cell, somewhere in the middle of nowhere probably. Christy brought me here" I said. " We're on our way" Said the person and hung up. I closed my phone and put it in my pocket. I pulled my knees up and put my head on them. "I need to go somewhere for a moment, Keep watch of her and do not let her out of your sight." Said one soldier and he left.
I had fallen asleep and woke up to see the guard starring intently at me. " Is there something wrong?" I asked. He shook his head and looked away. I saw him grab something out of his pocket and surely enough, it was a key. "Do you want out?" He asked. I looked at him confused. "How do I know if you're on my side?" I asked. "Just trust me on this one and lets go" He said, Opening the cell door. I quietly walked out. He went over to a storage closet and pulled out a suit. "Here, put this on" He said. "Umm.. Turn around then" I said. He looked away and I quickly put on the suit.
He had lead me through a corridor and to the exit door when we heard someone behind us. He turned and looked behind us then stepped in front of me. "Just keep on walking, they won't bother us" He said and continued in front of me. Then we heard the sound of alarms. "They've realized your gone. Run, NOW!" He said and pushed me ahead of him. I ran quickly out the door and kept on running. I heard the thud of loud footsteps behind me. I went in to a complete panic and suddenly, I froze. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist picking me up, Then everything turned black.
