Naling's father die and her mother got remarried three years later. She got a new father and a new sister also. She also doesn't have any friends at her new school. Then she meant Xai, her new sister boyfriend and they became friend. She then later on meant the most popular guy, all he care was about money and flirting around with girls. He thinks that he could get any girls he want but right until he meant Naling. He's not what he thinks she is.

Five classes have pass by so fast and it's already lunch. I walk into the cafeteria noticing that every time I pass by people, they stare at me. I don't like people staring at me so I quickly brought my lunch and walk out of the cafeteria and sat down on a bench that I hope nobody hang out. I started to eat my lunch when somebody called my name. I turn around noticing that it was the same guy that I meant this morning in class.
"Naling Nam right?" he asked me again.
I swallow the remaining food in my mouth and said, "Who else name is Naling Nam if it isn't me?"
He started to chuckle. "You're pretty funny as for Lela's sister."
"Step-sister," I quickly corrected him.
"Yeah but still sister."
I roll my eyes at him eating my lunch. He came and sat down two inches away from me. "Why did you run out of the cafeteria like that?"
"I don't like people staring at me," I answer him. Then I remember him mentioning Lela's name. "So...how did you know that I'm Lela's step-sister?"
"Obliviously Naling, the announcement this morning and you're the new student here."
"But still, how come you know? There could be another new student around in school that might be Lela's step-sister instead of me."
"Well because you're the new vice principal's daughter that's why I know."
I nodded my head. "Oh...okay but why are you talking to me like we're friends? Seem like everybody in this school hates me, plus the both of us just barely meant each other."
"A sister of Lela is a friend of mine and I only hate you if you're looking for trouble only."
"Alright so are you Lela's friend?"
"I'm actually her boyfriend." Then his cell phone started to vibrate. He take a look at his cell phone and then at me. "Sorry I got to go Lela texting me."
"Alright."
He got up about to leave but then suddenly turn back to look at me. "By the way, my name is Xai Xiang."
I just nodded my head at him as he smiles at me and took off. "Xai Xiang a boyfriend of Lela Song," I said to myself continue on eating my lunch. "And he wanted to be my friend. Weird." I got up from the bench, throwing the wrappers into the trash can and headed to my next class.

"So how's your first day of school?" Mea asked me the moment I got into my bedroom.
"Naling! Naling! I'm still talking to you," said my mother. She opens the door and walk into my bedroom. She turns to look at Mea as Mea walk out of the bedroom.
"Ma, I don't want to talk about it," I whined to her putting my backpack on the table.
"But I want to talk about it. You're disrespecting me right now."
"No I'm not."
"Now you're acting childish. You're just like your father."
I angrily turn to look at her and yelled at her. "That's because I am my father's daughter! Not anyone else daughter especially your new husband!"
"That new husband you're talking about is your father!"
"He's not my birth father, Ma! He's Lela birth father!"
She angrily walks up to me and slaps me. I was about to start crying but I didn't want to cry in front of her. Instead I angrily pushed her out of my way running out of my bedroom, down the stair and out of the house running toward the garden. When I couldn't run anymore, I suddenly stop and started crying to myself.
"Why are you crying?" I suddenly turn around knowing that the voice belongs to Xai.
I wipe my tears looking away from him.
"I'm not crying," I angrily said to him.
"There's no need to lie to me, Naling."
I furiously turn to look at him. "I'm not lying too! I'm just...angry that's all."
"Angry? Then tell me why you are angry?"
"Why do you want to know anyway? And how come you're here? Aren't you supposed to be with Lela?"
"Yeah but I saw you running downstairs that's why I follow you here."
"Does Lela know you're here?"
"No, I told her that I need to use the restroom. Also, we could hear your mother and you arguing upstairs too."
"You guys did."
He nodded his head. "So...what's the argument about?"
"It's none of your business and stop treating me like that."
"Treating you? How am I treating you?"
I turn to look at him and said, "Are you stupid or are you just acting stupid in front of me?"
"Naw for real, Naling..."
"Stop saying my name if you don't even know a thing about me!"
He slowly takes a step close to me as I take a step back away from him. "Naling, I'm just trying to be a good friend to you."
"A good friend? If you want to be a good friend to me, why won't you stop asking about what's going on?"
"Because that's what friend are for. They're supposed to be there for you and are always ready to lend a hand whenever you needed help."
"You don't need to explain to me what a friend is for. I know what it's already and I do have friends but they're not here."
"Umm...alright. All I'm trying to do is to become your friend but if you think you don't need a friend then that's fine with me."
He slowly turns around walking away from me. I stand there thinking to myself that may be I overreacted so I quickly went up to him stopping his way. "I'm sorry for being a jerk to you, Xai. I know it's rude but this is the way how I act but...thanks for being a friend. I really appreciate it."
He tapped my head, smiling. "You welcome Naling. So...does this mean that you and I are friends now?"
I simply just slowly nodded my head. "If only you wanted to be friend to a stumble person like me?"
"It's alright, I could deal with it."
I smile at him. "Just friend and nothing more than that, got it. I don't want Lela to think wrong between us."
"Don't worry about a thing. Lela and I been dating for three years already, I can't just leave her like that."
I take a deep breath still smiling at him. "I felt better now. I think you better return to Lela or else she'll think you run away from her."
"Alright." He started to walk away from me as I stand there watching him walk away until he's gone.

"Good morning Miss Naling," said Xai the moment he sat down next to me.
"Good morning," I said right back to him.
"So how's your morning treating you since it's your second day in school?"
"It's fine actually. Just woke up, eat, come to school and that's all."
"How boring."
"I know it's boring. What else could I do?"
He shrugs his shoulder at me. Then Mr. So enters class and we all settle down.

Finally five classes have pass by quick. I was going to die sitting in class with no one to talk with. When I was finish eating lunch, I started to walk to my next class. The moment when I was walking I heard somebody yelling for help. I quickly went to check and there were five guys surrounding a girl.
"Please let me go," she cried. "I already said please."
The guy that was holding the girl hand started to laugh. "You think that I'm going to let you off that easy."
"Please let me go, please I beg you."
I decided to pop out of my place and save the girl instead. "Leave her alone," I said to them. They turn around smiling at me.
"Are you that new girl?" the guy who was holding the girl hand asked.
I nodded my head. "What's that got to do with you?"
He let go of the girl hand started to walk toward me. "Oh so you're Lela's step-sister huh? I have been waiting to meet you face to face. But I didn't think that Lela's step-sister is going to be this pretty."
"Don't try to sweet mouth with me. I ain't those kinds of girls that fall for it that quick."
"So you are the type that likes to play hard to get huh?"
"No, it's just that I don't like you. The moment when I talk to you I already know that I'm not going to like you one bit."
"Umm...the moment when I talk to you I already know that I'm going to like you and maybe we might become friend...good friend."
He was about to touch my face but I quickly slap his hand away from me. "Don't even try to touch me with your filthy hand."
He started to laugh evilly. "I like you a lot do you know that. You're like the first girls that talk back to me with anger."
"That's because you deserve it from the people like me."
"Nice saying but just to tell you...I was just lying to you. Why would I like a girl that all her mother want is money and wanted to be rich like other that's why she marry Lela's father? I bet you're happy that you're living in a house that has so many variable things. Tell me...what is your guy plan?"
"What plan? What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about. You and your mother wanted Lela's father variable things huh, that's why your mother marry Lela's father."
"My mother isn't like that!"
"Sure she's not like that because you're her daughter that's why you don't think she like that."
"Look I don't know who you are but just to tell you...my mother and I don't even get along, so don't act like you know me!"
"Okay so your guy plans are not to get along so people will believe that the both of you aren't after his money huh."
"You know what...you're such a jerk!" I angrily walk away from him. "That jerk! Think that he know all about me. He doesn't even know a thing about me!"
"Umm...excuse me." I turn around noticing that it was that girl that I've save. "Thanks for helping me back there."
"It's alright," I answer her.
"So you're Lela's step-sister?"
"You could say that if you want if that's the only way you could remember me."
"I'm sorry but I don't mean like that. I was just making sure that you're really Lela's step-sister."
"Why?"
"Because maybe you like to be my friend."
"Be your friend? Why would I want to be your friend if I don't even know you?"
"Because I don't have any friend in this high school."
"And that made you want to become my friend."
"Well...you seem kind and nice that's why I want the both of us become friend."
"Umm...okay out of the entire student in this school you could ask one of them to be your friend but why are you asking me?"
"Well it's hard for me to make friends. But the only person that came up to me and ask if I wanted to be friend with him is Xai. Do you know Xai Xiang? You should know him because he likes to be friend with everyone in this school so mostly people know him but he's not as popular as Vee Hsu."
"Vee Hsu?"
"Yeah he was that jerk back there."
"So that jerk back there name is Vee Hsu?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah that's his name."
"Mmm...okay."
"Okay what?"
"Okay means I could become your friend."
"Great! By the way my name is Nene Chen."
"Yeah, great. Well I'll be going to my class."
"Alright I'll see you around."
I smile at her and started to walk to my class.

Finally I was out of that class. My head were about to explode from all those people screaming and yelling. I went to my locker putting some of my books away and then headed to the parking lot where my mother is waiting for me.
"So...how was school today?" she asked me the moment I got into the car.
"Like usual," I answer her looking out the window. She nodded her head and didn't say anything after that. Lela never takes a ride home with us. She usually has one of her friends to take her home but that's fine with me. When we got there, Lela and a couple of her friends including a couple of boy that were bullying Nene came too. I also saw Xai too but I didn't even wave or say 'hi' to him. I just went straight upstairs instead.
"Hello Naling," said Mea walking into my bedroom.
"Hi," I said putting my backpack on the table. I sat down on the table and started doing my homework. When I was finish with my homework, I could hear Lela's and her friend downstairs laughing and talking. I didn't want to go downstairs but my stomach started growling. Mea didn't come upstairs so I decided that I have to go downstairs and grab something to eat. I started to walk down the stair slowly so they weren't notice me. I could see them all sitting doing their homework together eating snacks. I finally enter the kitchen relieve that I made it without them noticing that I was downstairs. I turn around and was surprise that the person who was standing right behind me, staring at me was Vee. I didn't smile at him or say anything to him. I went around the table and open the fridge.
"So you were upstairs all along. Are you trying to hide from all of us?" he said drinking milk.
"Why would I be hiding from you guy?" I asked him. I take out some yogurt from the fridge turning to look at him again. He was still staring at me but didn't even notice that I was staring right back at him. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
He turn away shyly acting like he wasn't even staring at me. "I wasn't looking at you. You're too ugly to stare at."
"Well if I'm too ugly to stare at, why won't you get out of here then?"
"You're not the boss of this house."
"I know I'm not the boss of this house."
"Then why are you telling me to get out of here?"
"Fine then I'll get out." I quickly went out of the back door making sure he's not following me but he was following me. So I turn around angrily said, "Why are you following me?"
"I'm not following you. I just want to feel the breeze out here," he answers me.
"Okay you could be out here feeling the breeze all you want. I'll be heading inside up to my bedroom then." I started to head inside still holding the yogurt that I haven't opened yet. I was about to open the door when suddenly he pulled my hand swinging me away from the door.
"What do you want from me Vee?" I asked him angrily.
"So you know my name huh? I bet you really like me to know my name," he said smiling.
"Nene's the one that told me your name. I didn't ask for it but she just mentions it that's why I know your name. And don't say that I like you, I never did like you. A person like you doesn't deserve me liking you."
"Sure stop trying to play your dumb game. I know you wanted me so you could become rich like your mother. I bet you and your mother is planning something really big huh?"
"Why would I want you? You're too ugly to look at. Even a fly don't even want to land on you! And I already told you that my mother and I never get along. How many times am I going to say to you?"
He pulled me closer to him as I try to get out of his grip. "Don't try to mock me you little girl!"
"I'm not mocking you and I'm not a little girl! You were the one that is mocking me!" I started to wriggle around trying to make him let go of me but he was too strong. I drop the yogurt on the ground and started to hit him. "Let go of me! You're hurting me! If you don't let me go, I'll...I'll scream for help."
"Go ahead then. Yell for help then and you'll get something out of it."
I look into his eyes and started to scream 'help!' On my third scream he covers his mouth over my mouth. I was about to push him away from me but he wrapped his arm around my waist pushing me against the wall, right next to the door. I couldn't do anything because he was pressing his whole body on mine. I was too weak to go against his force so instead I bite his lip. He let go of me touching his lip and it was bleeding.
"You bit me," he said breathing heavily from the kiss.
I too was breathing heavily from the kiss saying softly, "You deserve it."
He then smiles at me about to say something when the door burst open.
"What's going on here?" Lela asked. I turn to look at her and then at Vee.
"Vee, you're bleeding," said Lela's friend. She went up to him wanting to wipe his blood but he pushed her away from him.
"I'm alright," he said back to her still staring at me.
I look at the rest of them and headed into the house.
"Naling are you alright?" Xai asked me blocking my way.
A tear drop from the corner of my eyes as I answer him, "I'm alright."
Vee and the rest of them came inside the house staring at me. He turns to look at Vee seeing that he was still bleeding from the bite. "What did Vee do to you?" he asked me.
I pushed him away saying, "None of your concern." I run upstairs and into my room trying my best not to cry but still I cry anyway. "Hmph! One day I'm going to pay back for what you did to me, Vee."
"Vee, what did you do to Naling?" Xai asked him the moment they heard the door shut.
"Why don't you ask her yourself if you're so concern about her?" Vee said back to Xai.
"Alright then, I'll go ask her myself." Xai were about to go upstairs but Lela grabbed his hand.
"Xai, you don't need to worry about her. She could take care of herself. She doesn't need anyone to worry about her," said Lela.
"She doesn't need anyone to care about her but she needs a friend to be there for her," Xai said to Lela.
"Wait, are you trying to tell me that you're her friend?" Lela asked him. "Don't tell me that you're a friend of my enemy especially when her mother is the one that is marrying to my father."
"Lela..."
"Don't say my name if you're going to check up on her!" Xai couldn't say anything so he decided to walk out of the house instead. "Xai! Xai! Come back here! I'm not finish talking with you yet!"
Xai angrily turn to look at her. "What else could the both of us talk about huh? You don't want me to check up on her so I'm deciding to go home instead."
Lela started to cry begging him to stay with her. "Please Xai, please don't go. I don't want you to go home mad like that."
Xai looked into her eyes, loving her so he pulled her close to him wiping her tears. "Don't cry Lela, I don't like it when you're crying."
"I will stop crying if you promise me not to go."
He nodded his head. "Alright."

I was sitting in the living room with the rest of my friends still thinking about the kiss. It kept on repeating my head. I love how the way her expression look when she's afraid. But I don't get why she doesn't admit that she's the kind of people who wanted money. I still remember meeting her at the subway two years ago. At that time my hair was still short and I also spike it too. I was walking down the subway waiting for the train when I spotted her holding flowers in the subway. At first I was thinking that she was so beautiful and I couldn't even take my eyes off from her. Her hair was tie up into a bun and some of her bangs cover half of her face. She doesn't have any make up on and all she wears is a blue jean, a long black sleeve shirt, and a blue jacket over. Then these bad guy run pass her and she fall down onto the ground dropping her flowers on the ground. Cops were running pass the subway too. I didn't even look where I was going so I step on a couple of her flowers.
"You idiot! Why did you step on my flowers!?" she yelled at me angrily. "Don't you know that it cost me a lot to get these flowers?"
"I'm sorry," I said smiling at her.
"Don't smile at me, you idiot!"
"I'm sorry Miss. I'll get you new flowers."
"I don't want you to get me new flowers. I want you to pay me instead."
"Pay you?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah pay me."
"Why would I want to pay you for just these flowers? They're just flowers. I could even get better flowers then these to you."
"I don't want flowers from you. I want money."
'I bet she's poor that's why she telling me to pay her' I thought to myself.
"So...are you going to pay me or not?" she asked me again.
"Alright, how much?"
"About two hundred."
"Two hundred? For these flowers? You got to be kidding me, Miss. These flowers seem worth only ten bucks."
"Look mister, are you going to pay me or not? I need to get going. I don't want to waste my time on you."
I take out my wallet and hand her two hundred. She takes it without a thanks and runs away. Two years pass and I met her again when she enters school and was announcing that she was the new student. Right then I know that she's after Lela's father for money. Also just to tell you, Lela and I have been friends for six years and I always looked after her. She's like a little sister to me and I'm like her big brother. Suddenly I snap out of my thoughts when Celia was calling my name.
"Are you dazing off again?" she asked me.
I smile at her. "I guess so." Then Lela and Xai walk back into the house and we continue on working on our homework.

"Be your friend? Why would I want to be your friend if I don't even know you?"
"Because I don't have any friend in this high school."
"And that made you want to become my friend."
"Well...you seem kind and nice that's why I want the both of us become friend."
"Umm...okay out of the entire student in this school you could ask one of them to be your friend but why are you asking me?"
"Well it's hard for me to make friends. But the only person that came up to me and ask if I wanted to be friend with him is Xai. Do you know Xai Xiang? You should know him because he likes to be friend with everyone in this school so mostly people know him but he's not as popular as Vee Hsu."
"Vee Hsu?"
"Yeah he was that jerk back there."
"So that jerk back there name is Vee Hsu?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah that's his name."
"Mmm...okay."
"Okay what?"
"Okay means I could become your friend."
"Great! By the way my name is Nene Chen."
"Yeah, great. Well I'll be going to my class."
"Alright I'll see you around."
I smile at her and started to walk to my class.

Finally I was out of that class. My head were about to explode from all those people screaming and yelling. I went to my locker putting some of my books away and then headed to the parking lot where my mother is waiting for me.
"So...how was school today?" she asked me the moment I got into the car.
"Like usual," I answer her looking out the window. She nodded her head and didn't say anything after that. Lela never takes a ride home with us. She usually has one of her friends to take her home but that's fine with me. When we got there, Lela and a couple of her friends including a couple of boy that were bullying Nene came too. I also saw Xai too but I didn't even wave or say 'hi' to him. I just went straight upstairs instead.
"Hello Naling," said Mea walking into my bedroom.
"Hi," I said putting my backpack on the table. I sat down on the table and started doing my homework. When I was finish with my homework, I could hear Lela's and her friend downstairs laughing and talking. I didn't want to go downstairs but my stomach started growling. Mea didn't come upstairs so I decided that I have to go downstairs and grab something to eat. I started to walk down the stair slowly so they weren't notice me. I could see them all sitting doing their homework together eating snacks. I finally enter the kitchen relieve that I made it without them noticing that I was downstairs. I turn around and was surprise that the person who was standing right behind me, staring at me was Vee. I didn't smile at him or say anything to him. I went around the table and open the fridge.
"So you were upstairs all along. Are you trying to hide from all of us?" he said drinking milk.
"Why would I be hiding from you guy?" I asked him. I take out some yogurt from the fridge turning to look at him again. He was still staring at me but didn't even notice that I was staring right back at him. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
He turn away shyly acting like he wasn't even staring at me. "I wasn't looking at you. You're too ugly to stare at."
"Well if I'm too ugly to stare at, why won't you get out of here then?"
"You're not the boss of this house."
"I know I'm not the boss of this house."
"Then why are you telling me to get out of here?"
"Fine then I'll get out." I quickly went out of the back door making sure he's not following me but he was following me. So I turn around angrily said, "Why are you following me?"
"I'm not following you. I just want to feel the breeze out here," he answers me.
"Okay you could be out here feeling the breeze all you want. I'll be heading inside up to my bedroom then." I started to head inside still holding the yogurt that I haven't opened yet. I was about to open the door when suddenly he pulled my hand swinging me away from the door.
"What do you want from me Vee?" I asked him angrily.
"So you know my name huh? I bet you really like me to know my name," he said smiling.
"Nene's the one that told me your name. I didn't ask for it but she just mentions it that's why I know your name. And don't say that I like you, I never did like you. A person like you doesn't deserve me liking you."
"Sure stop trying to play your dumb game. I know you wanted me so you could become rich like your mother. I bet you and your mother is planning something really big huh?"
"Why would I want you? You're too ugly to look at. Even a fly don't even want to land on you! And I already told you that my mother and I never get along. How many times am I going to say to you?"
He pulled me closer to him as I try to get out of his grip. "Don't try to mock me you little girl!"
"I'm not mocking you and I'm not a little girl! You were the one that is mocking me!" I started to wriggle around trying to make him let go of me but he was too strong. I drop the yogurt on the ground and started to hit him. "Let go of me! You're hurting me! If you don't let me go, I'll...I'll scream for help."
"Go ahead then. Yell for help then and you'll get something out of it."
I look into his eyes and started to scream 'help!' On my third scream he covers his mouth over my mouth. I was about to push him away from me but he wrapped his arm around my waist pushing me against the wall, right next to the door. I couldn't do anything because he was pressing his whole body on mine. I was too weak to go against his force so instead I bite his lip. He let go of me touching his lip and it was bleeding.
"You bit me," he said breathing heavily from the kiss.
I too was breathing heavily from the kiss saying softly, "You deserve it."
He then smiles at me about to say something when the door burst open.
"What's going on here?" Lela asked. I turn to look at her and then at Vee.
"Vee, you're bleeding," said Lela's friend. She went up to him wanting to wipe his blood but he pushed her away from him.
"I'm alright," he said back to her still staring at me.
I look at the rest of them and headed into the house.
"Naling are you alright?" Xai asked me blocking my way.
A tear drop from the corner of my eyes as I answer him, "I'm alright."
Vee and the rest of them came inside the house staring at me. He turns to look at Vee seeing that he was still bleeding from the bite. "What did Vee do to you?" he asked me.
I pushed him away saying, "None of your concern." I run upstairs and into my room trying my best not to cry but still I cry anyway. "Hmph! One day I'm going to pay back for what you did to me, Vee."
"Vee, what did you do to Naling?" Xai asked him the moment they heard the door shut.
"Why don't you ask her yourself if you're so concern about her?" Vee said back to Xai.
"Alright then, I'll go ask her myself." Xai were about to go upstairs but Lela grabbed his hand.
"Xai, you don't need to worry about her. She could take care of herself. She doesn't need anyone to worry about her," said Lela.
"She doesn't need anyone to care about her but she needs a friend to be there for her," Xai said to Lela.
"Wait, are you trying to tell me that you're her friend?" Lela asked him. "Don't tell me that you're a friend of my enemy especially when her mother is the one that is marrying to my father."
"Lela..."
"Don't say my name if you're going to check up on her!" Xai couldn't say anything so he decided to walk out of the house instead. "Xai! Xai! Come back here! I'm not finish talking with you yet!"
Xai angrily turn to look at her. "What else could the both of us talk about huh? You don't want me to check up on her so I'm deciding to go home instead."
Lela started to cry begging him to stay with her. "Please Xai, please don't go. I don't want you to go home mad like that."
Xai looked into her eyes, loving her so he pulled her close to him wiping her tears. "Don't cry Lela, I don't like it when you're crying."
"I will stop crying if you promise me not to go."
He nodded his head. "Alright."

I was sitting in the living room with the rest of my friends still thinking about the kiss. It kept on repeating my head. I love how the way her expression look when she's afraid. But I don't get why she doesn't admit that she's the kind of people who wanted money. I still remember meeting her at the subway two years ago. At that time my hair was still short and I also spike it too. I was walking down the subway waiting for the train when I spotted her holding flowers in the subway. At first I was thinking that she was so beautiful and I couldn't even take my eyes off from her. Her hair was tie up into a bun and some of her bangs cover half of her face. She doesn't have any make up on and all she wears is a blue jean, a long black sleeve shirt, and a blue jacket over. Then these bad guy run pass her and she fall down onto the ground dropping her flowers on the ground. Cops were running pass the subway too. I didn't even look where I was going so I step on a couple of her flowers.
"You idiot! Why did you step on my flowers!?" she yelled at me angrily. "Don't you know that it cost me a lot to get these flowers?"
"I'm sorry," I said smiling at her.
"Don't smile at me, you idiot!"
"I'm sorry Miss. I'll get you new flowers."
"I don't want you to get me new flowers. I want you to pay me instead."
"Pay you?"
She nodded her head. "Yeah pay me."
"Why would I want to pay you for just these flowers? They're just flowers. I could even get better flowers then these to you."
"I don't want flowers from you. I want money."
'I bet she's poor that's why she telling me to pay her' I thought to myself.
"So...are you going to pay me or not?" she asked me again.
"Alright, how much?"
"About two hundred."
"Two hundred? For these flowers? You got to be kidding me, Miss. These flowers seem worth only ten bucks."
"Look mister, are you going to pay me or not? I need to get going. I don't want to waste my time on you."
I take out my wallet and hand her two hundred. She takes it without a thanks and runs away. Two years pass and I met her again when she enters school and was announcing that she was the new student. Right then I know that she's after Lela's father for money. Also just to tell you, Lela and I have been friends for six years and I always looked after her. She's like a little sister to me and I'm like her big brother. Suddenly I snap out of my thoughts when Celia was calling my name.
"Are you dazing off again?" she asked me.
I smile at her. "I guess so." Then Lela and Xai walk back into the house and we continue on working on our homework.
