The Magic Battle

"A pebble fell down the rocky hill as Angel reached the top. From there, Angel could see the chaos of the battle.
The remnants of the yellow ashes swirled in the wind. Nesemises exploded left and right. Some people were trpped. Some were running. Some brave men were fighting the real Nesemis. Luckily, Angel could see to blood.
In her mind, Angel quickly went over the plan she had thought up on the way to the battle. Even she knew there was a slim chance of it actually working.
Taking a deep breath, she ventured downhill to find Vyu.
"Peter, behind you!" Vyu cried as he fought off another Nesemis.
"Dad!" Angeled called over the noise. Angel made her way to Vyu, killing two Nesemises in the process.
Vyu lowered his sword when Angel began to whispered in his ear. Peter, seeing that they were occupied, covered for them.
"NO!" Vyu suddenly shouted.
"Dad!"
"No Angel. It’s too dangerous. No, no, no, no, NO!" Vyu cried, shaking his head back and forth.
"Dad! We have to take our chances."
"But it will never work!"
"We still have to try." Angel insisted.
Taking a deep breath, he finally agreed. "Alright. Lets do it." Then Vyu rushed off.
Angel stayed and tried to calm her nerves. Fighting off some black spirits, Angel prayed for this to work. It would be even better if she didn’t have to do this at all. But, soon enough, Vyu returned with six other men, including Peter.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Angel? You can still back out if you want to." Vyu assured gently.
"No, I’m not backing out. I never have and I won’t start now."
"Alright, Angel." Vyu watched Angel blend in with the frantic crowd around them. Once she disappeared, Vyu lead the men toward the real Nesemis, which Angel had kindly pointed out.
"On my mark." Vyu whispered. His eyes watched for the perfect moment to rush at Nesemis. "Now!"
A trampling of feet. Clinking of metal. Soon, a desperate battle erupted, based on hope.
Angel stayed hidden in the crowd, waiting anxiously. As soon as Nesemis turned his back on her, she sprinted out and joined the battle, for a surprise attack.
Angel stabbed her sword into the back of the floating horror. To her surprise, he didn’t turn into ash like his minions. He just turned slowly toward her. All fighting ceased.
"Do you think I could be killed that easily?" Nesemis questioned, amused.
"Why didn’t you die?" Angel asked. "You should be dead!"
Then, Nesemis laughed. "Ha! Do you think a weakling like yourself would be powerful enough to kill me? Your mother wasn’t even a match for me. After all, I did kill her."
"Whoa. Wait a minute. You killed her?"
"Of course."
"B-b-but I thought it was because of me that she died."
"Nonsense! I put a spell on her and that’s why she died. Of course I didn’t know that she was pregnant at the time. Nobody knew."
"So, I was hating myself all that time because of something that I didn’t even do?" Angel questioned with anger.
Before Nesemis could say another word, Vyu interjected. "You killed Miirii*? You-" Nobody knew that Vyu even knew those kind of words that he had shouted at Nesemis.
In raging anger, let loose a powerful stream of magic. Nesemis flew back and tumbled a few feet before he entirely stopped.
Nesemis blasted his own magic and Vyu collapsed before Angel’s very eyes.
"DAD!" Vyu struggled to get up again. Nesemis approached Vyu, ready to finish him off.
"Oh no you don’t! You may have killed my mother but you are not going to take my dad away from me!" Unexpectedly, sparks began to fly off her fingers. Angel stared at her hand, bewildered.
"Signs of magic." Nesemis said, answering Angel’s unasked question. "Seems that you have inherited your parent’s gift. So what are you going to do now? Use it against me? "
"Yes. I’ll make you pay for my mother’s death." She flashed a colorful streak of magic at Nesemis.
Anticipating her move, Nesemis sank into the ground.
"So are just going to hide or fight?" Angel challenged.
"Don’t get your hopes up little girl." Nesemis chuckled. His acid breath caused a ring of fire to dance around Angel. Grey smoke created a large cloud, drowning all the light.
Through the smog, Angel caught a glimpse of Nesemis raising his hands to curse or put a spell on her. She counterattacked.
The magic blasts met each other in mid air. The air snapped and crackled. A ball of electric power was created when the two forces of power met. The blue/purple/white ball started to expand and split in two. Both Nesemis and Angel were now covered by a shield. The electric balls had surrounded them.
Everyone backed away and the multiples of Nesemis melted into the red ground.
Without warning, both Nesemis and Angel crumpled to the ground.
"Angel!" Vyu rushed toward her but by the time he had reached her she had already started to float into the clear blue sky. So have Nesemis.
They were both hovering about ten feet above the ground. Everyone was silent. They just stared fearfully at Angel.
Suddenly, Nesemis floated forward and sixty miles per hour and entered Angel’s slim body. A piercing cream escaped Angel’s lips though Angel remained unconscious.
Angel’s body spiraled downwards and landed with a soft thump.
Everyone scrambled to get to her. After what seemed like forever, Angel’s eyes fluttered opened to reveal her beautiful emerald eyes.
"W-what happened? Why am I laying on the ground? Where’s Nesemis?" Angel tried to sit up but collapsed again because of the pain.
"Take it easy." Peter said as he sat Angel up slowly.
The next second, big puffs of blue and red filled the air. When it cleared, two figures stood before them.
The Angel and the Devil had returned. "
