Changing Tides
Samantha Ray Taylor is a junior at Meadowbrook high school. On a flight to Greece with her class, to study ancient monuments, the plane crashes. Her, and fourteen other students make it to a nearby deserted island. Will they be able to make it home, or even survive? Patience runs thin when relationships get out of hand.

Great. Just great. Not only do I have to spend three weeks in Greece, I have to spend it with Lily Pumfrey. She gets on my nerves so much, she's just despicable. I can't even begin to describe how evil she is, or how mean she is. Yeah, I know she's the school's most popular cheerleader, but to me she's just a big bow-head. This trip would have been great without her, but alas, fate is cruel.
"Alright, is everyone here? One, two, -fourteen, fifteen. Okay, everyone on board! There's no going back so make sure you have EVERYTHING! Oh, and cell phones please. They'll be staying here in North Dakota in a safe, but I need everyone to hand their stuff in! That includes you Lily!" I smiled to myself as Lily put on a look of shock, then saw me handing mine in, and scoffed.
I followed everyone on board the smallish plane (it was only students on board) and sat down in the back. I took out a book, Alas, Babylon, and opened to thew first page. I saw Lily heading back with a smile on her face and an alarm of warning shot off in my head. What was she going to do? Then before I could react, she *tripped* and sent her open bottle of water flying over me and my book.
"You did NOT just do that!" I was seething, ready to slap her.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I didn't see you there." She flashed a smile at me.
As the sole teacher, Ms. Kaler, stepped on board she began to shout, "Girls! STOP! Lily, sit down now! Yes, right there!"
That's how I ended up sitting next to Lily for a twenty-two hour flight. Great. Just great. Please, kill me now.
