Sorry for the wait!!
I woke up as I no longer felt the source of warmth I'd felt only minutes before. I stretched my arm out and felt around the sleeping bag which now only held me. Slowly I opened my still sleep filled eyes to see Apollo in the corner of the tent looking outside at the moon, a soft god-like glow surrounding his beautiful body. "Come bag to bed, I'm cold." I chuckled and held my arms out to him. He looked at me and gave me a melancholy smile. Curious, I crawled out of the cozy sleeping bags and over to him. I keeled next to him and looked into his eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked moving a curl out of his eyes.
"I'm scared.." He whispered, his rising sun colored eyes searching my sea blue and green ones.
"Of what?"
"What if you get hurt going to the Seeing Pool? What if I can't help you? What if-"
"We can what if forever..listen, I know the risks and I'm willing to face those risks to protect my family, my friends, and you." I said touching his cheek softly and smiling. His eyes filled with golden tears.
"You're an angel." He whispered. I blushed and murmured, "far from."
He suddenly grabbed me and pressed his lips to mine, kissing me slow and deeply. My knees became jell-o as his tongue slowly entered my mouth. The sweet moment was ruined when I heard a branch crack outside. My fighting instincts came into act and within a second i was pulled away from Apollo in a crouching position, my sword sprung from my bracelet and i sat there, listening. My long dark hair was braided and now over my shoulder, my bangs in my eyes. My breathing was deep and hard.
"What the hell?" Apollo said.
"Shh!" Slowly I unzipped the tent and crept outside. There. A shadow. Behind the big tree in the middle of the clearing. I crept up and jumped on the figure. A garbled scream came from my victim as I rolled him onto his back and put my knee on his chest, my sword to his throat.
"Jeezes Nerrita!" A familiar voice said.
"...Aderick??"
"No. It's the Easter bunny." Aderick said from under me, breathing hard.
"What are you doing here??"
He gave me a cheeky crooked smile. "You actually thought I was going to let you have all he fun? Plus, I have to protect you. Now, don't take this offensively but can you get your cute butt off me? If this were different circumstances you could stay like this." I rolled my eyes and got off him.
"Go home."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"APOLLO!" I shouted to get some back up.
"Who is this guy?" Apollo asked as he emerged from the tent.
"Her boyfriend." Aderick said putting his arm around me. The look in Apollo's eyes said Aderick had exactly 20 sec. of life left.
"He's kidding Apollo." I comforted.
"Unless you don't want me to be." Aderick said getting on one knee and doing his cool little rose and butterflies trick.
"Ugh. Hade's son." Apollo said rolling his eyes, putting a protective arm around my waist.
"Ugh. Sun god." Aderick said back measuring up Apollo.
"My gods shut up you guys!" I said walking away from both of them. Their bickering voices following me as I walked away quickly. Quickly I spun on my heals and they both ran into me still arguing. "Stop! Following! Me!"
They both started talking at the same time saying they were going to protect me and such.
"I am FINE by myself!" But as soon as I said that, a clear and audible growl came from behind me.
"I'm scared.." He whispered, his rising sun colored eyes searching my sea blue and green ones.
