Cat And The Kittens
A cute little poem...
Those shining eyes were fixed on the burner.
Their mother was nowhere to be seen.
Little things didn’t know where she had been.
Entwined with one another were their paws.
Pointed and naturally polished were their claws.
All of a sudden the burner was put off.
The milk had over flown and reduced to half.
The kittens were eying it with all innocence.
In mid air was seen a leap and a pounce.
From nowhere, did the mother come to their rescue.
Shrill and sharp was the mother cat’s mew.
Naughty kittens were all over their mother.
Little did they know about the averted danger!
