Carrie Underwood Dating Hockey Star

It seems like just yesterday that Carrie Underwood and Tony Romo were the toast of the town. As recently as a few months ago, there were swirling that the Dallas Quarterback was still in touch with Underwood via cell phone, even though he has been steadily dating Jessica Simpson for over a year.

Now Carrie Underwood seems to have settled down again - this time on a hockey rink with the Ottawa Sentaors' center, Mike Fisher. And take it from this guy, Mike Fisher is no slouch in the looks department. And as hockey players go, he seems to be pretty legitimate. Not quite the face of his league in the way that the NFL promotes Romo, but I'm sure his profile will elevate now that he's dating Carrie. The NHL can use any press that it can get at this point.

Reports out of Canada are that Carrie has been spending time in one of the sky box suites at the Ottawa arena - hanging out with MIke Fisher's family watching some games. But more interestingly, Carrie was with Mike's sister on New Year's Eve getting spa treatments and pedicures, apparently in preparation for a big night out with MIke and his family.

Even though the early reports seem to be positive on the relationship, neither side is commenting yet. Mike Fisher told reporters recently that he didn't want to comment on his personal life. Good luck with that one, Mike. I'm guessing that you may be hearing some personal questions again in the near future.
