CARNIES! Chapter 6 Pt 1
Omigosh! Leelee…you have my nickname!! :D

I love you, Ap. You seriously make me look like an idiot, here laughing while reading something on the computer. :D

The warehouse is supposed to be a meeting place for Tony and Ana (was that her name? I think it was Sara) so he could give her some money. (I think) his family has problems, too, so he gives his little sister some money for food that his druggy parents can’t get their hands on. She needs the extra money, especially now with a two year old.

Nick’s dad is one demented freak. Come on! He sure liked it when (even though Nick can’t remember this) he sold his son to tons of weird messed up people who visited the circus!

Thanks, Sol. I’ve always loved reading (I read at LEAST ten books a week on average) and I guess that’s why I’m like this? I love writing, though. And what really made me mad was before, when I’d written an AWESOME story, but I lost it because the computer crashed (that’s happened to me a lot lately) and I lost the whole story. I haven’t tried to rewrite it because it’s not as good as the first try. Makes me sad, though.

OK I’m gonna stop babbling and get back to the story…

I woke up with a jolt, cold. Looking around, I saw my old room. Why was I here?

I went downstairs and heard dad talking angrily to someone. The other guy was able to get a word in, and I froze. It was Nick. He’d betrayed me? After I’d told him all of that…?

I dashed down the stairs and glared at Nick angrily. He looked into my eyes, sorrow nesting there.

"Why?" I asked, tears in my eyes, as dad turned around drunkenly.

"I-. " he started, but dad stopped him, pushing him into the wall so that he’d be able to talk to him some more, with Nick’s undivided attention. I walked towards the front door, not caring that I was wearing pink pajama bottoms and a white tank, and went out the front door.

Nick’s eyes followed me on the way out.

I walked down the gravel road barefooted, vaguely feeling the cold, and looked to the sky tiredly. The moon was out.

I heard a car honking its horn and dashed to the sidewalk just in time for me to keep myself from getting run over.

Even though I’d gotten out of the car’s way, there was a truck. A huge truck. It came storming at me, lights shining, and the last thing I saw was the driver before the lights went out on me. It was my dad.

The world closed around me.

I woke up, sweat coating my skin, and Nick sat up, wondering what was wrong. I looked at him like a scared rabbit, and he held me as I cried.

**
I have no idea what this idea means. Just to let you know. I guess it’ll come out in the wash, eh?
