Swimming
Swimming is one of the best cardiovascular exercise types, as it is a full body exercise. Since the joints are supported the chances of high impact injuries are reduced with this exercise. Therefore, if you suffer from any joint injury, you can opt for this exercise.

Step Aerobics
For those of you who are bored with the routine cardiovascular activity, you may want to opt for step aerobics. With the number of variations, which can be brought about in the step aerobic exercises, you will not get bored with this exercise. At the same time, it is better than doing regular aerobics, as it reduces the chances of any injury to the knee and ankle joint.

Bicycling
You can choose to cycle either indoors or outdoors for a great cardiovascular exercise. When you cycle with all the power, it will help increase endurance and burn a lot of calories. Stair Climbing

Skipping
Like stair climbing, you can also opt for skipping at home. You either opt to skip with both the legs or alternate between them. It will help you raise your heart rate to the fat burning zone. You will not have to spend a lot of time to do this exercise. In about 20 to 25 minutes, it will give you an unparalleled total body workout. It is also a great exercise for eye hand coordination, lateral movement and for foot and hand speed and agility.
