Things You Will Need
  • 12 inches metal craft circle
  • 1 single light bulb fixture
  • Stud finder
  • Monofilament line
  • 2-inch round capiz shell beads
  • A pair of scissors
  • Clear craft glue
  • Pencil
  • 4 to 5 small ceiling hooks
Instructions
You can easily find the Capiz shell beads pack at online stores or at local craft supplies store as well. First of all, hold the metal circle around the single bulb light fixture and against the ceiling. Then with the help of a pencil, trace the circle. Then locate a ceiling joist on the perimeter of the circle, by using the stud finder and mark it too. Repeat the same procedure and find three more points for hooks. Just remember that all the marks for hooks should be evenly spaced so that the chandelier remain evenly placed. Then is the time to attach the hooks to the ceiling and then hang the craft circle.

Then cut 16 strands of monofilament line that measure at least 4 feet long. Of the 4 feet, each strand of chandelier will hang to the length of 24 inches. The remaining of it are required to tie the knots. Then, make an overhead knot at 12 inches from one end of a strand. Then thread the Capiz shell on the strand and drag it down towards the knot that you just made. Then make another double knot at least an inch above the Capiz shell that you just threaded. Then thread yet another shell. Now, repeat the same pattern throughout the strand, or till you thread about 15 times. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the strands too.

Then, tie each strand on the craft circle by using a triple overhead knot. Make sure that the strands are spaced evenly throughout the circle. Then, add some glue on each knot so that they become more secure. Lastly, add the craft circle (your chandelier) on the hooks on ceiling.
