Candy Apple with Pineapple Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 cups green apples
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Process

Stir together the pineapple, egg, vinegar, flour and sugar in a saucepan, over medium heat. Cook until the mixture gets thick, about 6 minutes. Let it cool completely. Now, in a bowl, add the pineapple mixture and whipped topping and add in apples and ½ cup peanuts. Mix carefully. For topping, sprinkle the remaining nuts. Your easy candy apple salad recipe is ready!

Candy Apple with Ice Cream

Ingredients
  • Caramel flavored ice cream topping
  • 1 16 oz container cool whip
  • 6 tart apples
  • 6 regular sized candy bar
Process

Freeze the candy bars, unwrap and put them in a zip lock bag. Cut the pieces or you can also chunk it with a kitchen mallet. Cut the apples into chunks, core them. Add whipped cream to apples and candy, refrigerate for about an hour, in glass bowl. Add just a little caramel topping, before serving.

Candy Apple with Cream Cheese Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 large red delicious apple (dice, but do not peel)
  • 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 - 4 candy pieces, diced
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large green apple (dice but do not peel)
Process

Add cream vanilla, sugar and cream cheese together, in a container or bowl and add cool whip to the mixture and mix well. Add the diced candy bars and also the apples. Make just before serving, as it tastes the best when served the same day.

Candy Apple and Vanilla Pudding

Ingredients
  • 4 large apples, chopped (about 6 cups)
  • 4 candy bars (2.07 ounces each), cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1½ cups cold milk
  • 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Process

Whisk milk and pudding in a large bowl, until smooth. Let it stay, until it is soft-set. After it is soft-set, fold in candy bars and apples. Refrigerate till serving, you can add any of your favorite nuts on top, to make it look more attractive.

Candy Apple and Gelatin Salad

Ingredients
  • ½ cup tart apples, diced
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cherry flavored gelatin
  • ¾ cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ⅓ cup cinnamon red hot candies
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
Process

Add boiling water and cherry gelatin to a bowl and stir until completely dissolved. Slowly add cinnamon candies and stir for about a minute. Wait and stir again to dissolve the candies in the gelatin. Only when the candies are completely dissolved, add cold water. Let the mixture come to room temperature, which will take around 10 minutes. Once at room temperature, add in celery, apples and walnut. Pour the mixture into a decorative glass bowl and refrigerate overnight to set.
