Cancer
A little poem for Janice...
I lost a dear friend to cancer,
You never think it could happen to you,
I cried for her more than anyone I have before,
She was so weak, fragile, and young,
But cancer doesn't care who its victim is,
Live each day like it is your last,
That's what she did for us,
All we have left is her past,
Now she is gone,
Deep in her grave,
Remembered forever,
Because she was so brave,
She fought each day just to live another,
And didn't die until her we saw her,
I hugged her, my last a week before,
I broke down in tears,
Now she’s at peace,
That's all that matters,
I hope to see her again,
I can't see the screen any longer,
For my tears are clouding my vision,
But let me just say this.....
Janice, I love you,
I'll never stop grieving,
I'll love you forever,
And you know that is true,
In memory of Janice Welsch Mueler
A loving kind mother and friend
