Can Red Eyes Actually Help You See?

Red eyes have normally been looked up as negative, whether it be because you have bloodshot eyes from being sick or a late night of drinking, or you had your picture taken only to realize later that the flash made them bright red, so why would you want red eyes? Let's find out.
Can Red Eyes Actually Help You See?
Since red eyes are typically associated with negative things like health problems or bad camera work, why would anyone want their eyes to be red? Well, could be for a few reasons, but they are usually related to attention.

Attention? Yes, whether you want the perfect costume, or you are going to be getting attention day to day, you can make your eyes red with the help of contact lenses that make them stand out in the crowd.

There are many styles of red contacts available, so you should look around and find out what kind you want first. You can get dark red contacts, light red, red with shapes or designs, or even animals or creatures like cats or vampires.

You will need a prescription for your contacts, regardless of whether or not they are vision-correcting lenses or not. Check with your eye care specialist or doctor first to make sure you can wear them.

You should not sleep in your contacts unless stated specifically by your doctor that it's okay.

Red contacts should typically last you a few years, as long as you take good care of them. Always store them in solution when you aren't wearing them and don't pinch or bend them to harshly.

If you do find that your contacts have been damaged, don't try wearing them because you can seriously damage your eye.

Ultimately, red contacts can make or break your look or costume, for Halloween or for everyday use. With all of the available colors out right now, I'd have to say red contact lenses are ahead of the pack.
