Can I Really Change my Life

"-Sigh- Here I come High school, what do you have in store for me?"
Yeah that was something stupid to ask before coming to Kodami Collegiate Institute. It's December and the only thing that High school had in store for me was a truck load of assignments. Ohh I just remembered semi-formal is tonight... and the theme is The Masquerade Ball... Urghh I just wanted to go home and sleep but nooo my best friend, Kate, just had to make me go along -Sigh- whatever I'll just go get ready and then head over to Kate's house.
Kate soon as I walk through the door ....
"JULIE TRAN !!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU !!! Why... why would you wear CONVERSES with your dress and.. NO MAKE-UP?!?!?! And.. And.... YOUR HAIR!!! THERE IS NO STYLE!!!!"
"Calm yourself Kate! You know I don't like make-up and I don't care no matter what the occasion is I. AM. NEVER. GOING. TO. PUT. ON. MAKE-UP. And I don't own high heels nor do I want to and I like my hair the way it is so yea.."
"You know what, Julie..." she sighed "urghh we don't have enough time for your hair and make-up but put these on" she threw a pair of white heels at me.
"Seriously?!?!?!?! KATE!!!! HIGH HEELS???!!!!!"
"Yes! Now put them on and lets go before we're late" Kate said as she shoved me into the car
"Urgghh!!! Fine..." I rolled my eyes at her and she pretended she didn't see
The whole car ride there she went on with her endless babbles, while I pretended to listen to her like usual but as soon as we go there I bolted out the car so I didn't have to listen to it for another second. When we walked through the hall's doors we were speechless everything was golden and sparkled like nothing I ever seen before and the gold reflected off my white dress making it look yellow. But the lobby was nothing compared to grand hall where we were going to be for the rest of the night it was so.. Wow .. I can't even find the words to explain it...it was just wow...
Then I saw him!!! Kyle Dang the Vice President of the student council he wasn't the best looking guy but he was very kind, smart, funny, helpful and he is an amazing dancer. I had a little crush on him 2 months ago but the I found out he had a girlfriend so I gave up. Hey.... Who is that guy next to him... he looks familiar....Ohh yea!!! That guy that a few of my friends stalked everyday during lunch... he looks cute but ehh I don't think there's anything special about him... well its probably because I don't know him.... What was his na...
"Ouch!!!" someone smacked me
"EARTH TO JULIE TRAN!!!" Brenda said as she waved her hand in front of my face
"Maybe I should smack her again" John suggested
"Don't!! you dare smack me again" I yelled as I hid behind Brenda for protection
We all burst out in laughter and went to our table for the meal. Everyone was pulled into the conversation about how horrible the food was, also getting all hyped up and excited for the dance after... I'm not a big fan of dancing so I decided to went outside i remember seeing a swing set close by.... Somewhere... I think it was ... somewhere.... Here....
"I FOUND IT I knew I was here" I laughed "yeah I have a habit of talking to myself when I'm out alone"
Then I saw a figure on the swings...
"I wonder who would be out here... someone from school maybe? But why would ... he? Be out here and not in the dance?"
I got closer and I saw his face... he was crying.... Hey!! It's that guy ... umm.. Justin Wang!!! But why is he here crying ... I never actually seen a guy cry before ... Oh My Cookies he's looking this way... oh my ... what do I do... maybe I should pretend I didn't see him cry... but that would be senseless of me... AHH ... okay I'll just go there and see what he says first...
"Hey there are you that 9th grader who has a lot of people talking about her because of her strange, cute, scary ...."
I cut his sentence short "yes yes yes I'm that girl but you don't need to go on with the list its way too long"
He Laughed " your name is..."
I laughed too "you know what I'm known as but you don't know my name?"
"Well it's not like you know my name so I think we are even" he said
"Well, as a matter of fact I do know your name Justin Wang, I've heard a lot about u from friends they seem to know quite a lot about you and as a result I know a few things" I laughed again " anyway I'm Julie, Julie Tran nice to meet you"
I don't know how much time passed since we started to talk but then I started to snow and I paused mid sentence to just stare at it...
"So .. Beautiful" I said with my eyes opened so wide my eye balls could fall out

"she remind me of her so much except she don't seem to have any hints of imperfection"
"Huh? Did you say something?" she asked with the cutest face ever I wanted to just hold her
"OH no I didn't say anything" I gave out a little laugh
She's so innocent, pretty, perfect but I cannot yet it's much too soon. Thoughts of Tiffany are still too fresh in my mind I can't .. not right now... I don't want to be hurt... I can't love... not right now... I can't...
