Camping is for the Birds
Get closer to nature with a relaxing camping trip...
Are you someone that loves getting away from it all? I know that when I was growing up my family didn't take the traditional vacation getaways, we had a camper and we traveled almost every weekend during the warm months to a local campground and spend a couple of nights. Sometimes we would even go away for a week or more at a time and really enjoy ourselves. We had a group that we traveled with and they all took their own campers and their children played with us for the weekend, it was always great fun.
One of the things that I really enjoyed about camping is that you got to be around the great outdoors and all the wildlife that it held. Often on our camping trips I would find myself hiking along a mountain stream looking at the little critters and hoping for a chance to see something like a deer or a turkey. One thing that I always found fascinating in the things that I saw was the wide variety of birds that were there. It was always a treat to see them flying around so busy and to hear them sing through the forest. It shaped a part of my life that I really love and that I, even today, take a part in on a regular basis… bird watching.
So if you love birds, and you enjoy being outdoors in the peace and quiet then go camping and enjoy the time alone. There really isn't anything like the experience of camping to help you unwind and reflect on all that life holds for us. And take a less from the birds that you see, and how carefree they really are. Camping will help restore your tired soul and is a great way to get close to nature.
