Calories in Homemade Chicken Salad
The calories in homemade chicken salad will amount to quite a healthy amount, being highly nutritious and incredibly toothsome, and wholesome a meal. Let's find out how you can manage a sizable portion without compromising on your waistline...

I know a case of a little boy who grew a certain female body part after being on a diet that included a lot of chicken. Don't freak out now, it has nothing to do with one's reproductive parts - by female parts I meant breasts, actual protruding breasts that needed medication and treatment to help get rid of them. The medications put into these animals can mess with our DNA and bring about all sorts of inconceivable outward and inward changes.
Be sure to go easy on chicken, and go by a trusted company that has brought up its livestock with the best possible care and attention (organic for example). As long as the food is organic, you have nothing to worry about, so fear not. A chicken salad is a great alternative to junk food, where the ingredients are tummy pleasers all the way.

Homemade Chicken Salad Recipe with Non Fat Dressing
What You'll Require
- 1 cup of shredded chicken
- 2 cups of romaine lettuce
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- ½ a teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of non fat Italian salad dressing
- ½ a cup of Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of non fat mayo
Take a non stick frying pan, and wait for it to heat up before adding in the olive oil and garlic. After about 10 seconds of sautéing the minced garlic, add in your chicken shreds. Wait for it to turn nice and deep brown, before keeping it to one side to cool. Take a small bowl and stir in together the mayo, Italian dressing, lemon juice and pepper, until it turns nice and smooth. Slice up the lettuce roughly, separating the leaves from the heads first. Place these in a big bowl, drop in your chicken, and then pour over the top the dressing mix. Lastly, douse your salad with the lemon juice before giving the salad bowl's contents a good toss. Shower your salad with the Parmesan cheese, and then sit yourself down for some yum time.
