  • Now, hold the funnel above the hot oil and remove your finger. Move the funnel in a circular way. Pour the batter in a steady stream into the skillet to form crisscrossed designs. With practice, you will be able to do it fast. But initially, try a few coils at a time.
  • Deep-fry until the batter turns golden brown. Turn it and fry for another one-two minutes. Remove it and drain it on kitchen paper.
  • Serve it hot after sprinkling some brown sugar or cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. If you want, you can spread some honey over it.
