First set up a double boiler and then beat the egg whites by placing the container 2 inches above the boiling water. Beat the egg whites to turn into foamy texture over the top. Then add the remaining ingredients into the bowl and beat the mixture for seven minutes. The temperature of the thermometer should reach almost 160°F, after the completion of seven minutes. Then take out the top of the boiler and continue beating the mixture for 4-5 minutes.

  • Water - ⅔ cup
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Egg whites - 2
  • Vanilla - 2 teaspoons
  • White corn syrup - 2 tablespoons

To prepare this boiled icing recipe, first add water, sugar and corn syrup in a medium-sized saucepan and stir the mixture to dissolve the sugar content.
