By Fate
Ok this is one of the few poems I have ever written with a happy ending...I'm somewhat proud of myself (: please comment...
A razor as here only friend
She seeks the end tonight
She wonders through the halls
The blade in her pocket
She stumbles and trips
Her books spread across the floor
As she bends to lift them up
Her fingers touch something warm
She slowly lifts her eyes
To find a deep ocean open up before her
She picks up her books
Mumbles a thank you
It continues along her way
Later that day
When she walks into the house
Step by step up the stairs
She stands before her door
The place a life would've ended that night
But as she feels round in her pocket
She runs down the stairs in fright
She runs to the park and there he stands
Her rusty friend in his hand
She looks down not daring met his eyes
For she didn't want to see
His salty sweet eyes
She lifts her hand
Palm outreached
The feeling she gets next
Is the warmth of his breath...
Upon her tear streaked cheek
A soul was saved
By fate
She seeks the end tonight
She wonders through the halls
The blade in her pocket
She stumbles and trips
Her books spread across the floor
As she bends to lift them up
Her fingers touch something warm
She slowly lifts her eyes
To find a deep ocean open up before her
She picks up her books
Mumbles a thank you
It continues along her way
Later that day

The place a life would've ended that night
But as she feels round in her pocket

She runs to the park and there he stands
Her rusty friend in his hand
