Note that the logo cannot be used on a business card more than once. It should be used once and should be the most easily legible item on the card. As per popular appeal, yes, size does matter. Often, people try to experiment with business card sizes. While that is a very creative approach, it is often suggested against. This is because, if the card does not fit in the reader's card holder, they might lose it. This can be a loss for them, but an even bigger loss for you. In case you are an artist, you can afford to experiment a little bit with the shape of the card, as long as it is the right size to fit into a card holder. However, if you are from an analytical or fixed natured profession, a contemporary sized and shaped card is the safest bet. Although, a slight curve of the edge is permissible to all, a lawyer or management consultant should avoid designing a non-rectangular card. Yes, it seems rigid, but so is the mindset of the people. So, if you don't need to be, don't be too creative and experimental with your business card.
