Burning Memories

Its hard to get your ex lover out of your head sometimes.
I'm trying to understand.
I'm trying to be a man.
I really don't know what to say.
Everything was fine yesterday.
Then all of a sudden everything changed.
All of our love got rearranged.
It got flipped and turned upside down.
Like a smile changing into a frown.
We were happy and glad,
Now I'm empty and sad.
I'm broken in two,
Nothing can fix me, not even glue.
I'm missing your smile.
I haven't seen it in a while.
My feelings still burn,
I guess its my turn,
I have to learn to mourn,
My life without you has to be born.
But losing you was to much pain,
Tears run down like pouring rain.
Sleep was yesterdays vocab.
I haven't got any, its making me mad!
Your memory is permanently printed in my mind.
Losing you has left my soul unkind.
More bitter I grow,
As the days go,
Our memories start to fade,
More like I cut them out with my blade.
Now all that's left are scars,
Empty memories trapped behind broken bars.
