Burning Bridges

How greed can tear some of the closest relationship or ideas we once had...
Brothers they once were
Before they moved on and grew old
Passionate they both were
About their impact on the this vast and large world

Greed can lead to change
And change can lead to hostility

This greed forced these brothers apart
With a new found hatred deep inside their lonely hearts
Grey smoke lifts up from the ashes of their friendship

Burning bridges as they left
The bridges lay burning, blazing a fiery red
Their friendship is over, with every last word that needed to be said

This plan will never to recover from what once was
Will never have the power to become
A great idea brought to life
Now it's shot down and left to die

Enemies they have now become
Over reasons never said or done
Spiritless they have now become
About their impact they had once begun....
