Alexandria's pov-
I looked into his eyes.... they were hypnotizing. I felt dizzy. I tried to stop looking, but his eyes were like magnets and made me focus into them. Everything was a blur except his eyes.
Suddenly, I heard a crash! A widow had broken!! The man stopped looking. He pressed a button and in seconds, a helicopter came right on top of the roof. He looked at me as his accomplice laid the ladder down. He put his fingers on his eyes and then pointed them towards mine. he glared at me and in half a second he was up the helicopter and it flew away. I started at them. I felt dizzy. I remembered the glass breaking and rushed inside. But I couldn't see anything broken I rushed upstairs to my room. There I saw a broken glass. I stood there staring at it. I looked around to find any clues. Nope! none at all. I cleared up the mess and thought off the days happenings. What a HORRIBLE day! My head was in a whirl. "I guess I just need to sleep!" I said to myself. I went under the covers and after 10 seconds, I was asleep.
ZZZZZzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzZzZZZZZzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzz
CRRRASHHHH! BANG! TUHD!!!! ZZZINGG!!!.... I woke up from my sleep! What on earth was that!
Author's pov-
Alex jumped up. A clash of thunder was heard. streaks of lightning came after to seconds. It looked so close that she she was with clouds. She looked around. It was raining heavily at 11 o'clock in the night. her parents are asleep in their room, not taking notice of anything. Alexandria is scared and looked all over the place for any sign of danger.
Alexandria's pov
I got out of my bed. I felt scared. It was pitch dark and I couldn't see a thing. I walked around. I walked to the broken window. I steeped on something sharp"AHH!" I cried out in pain. I looked to see what I stepped on. I bent down. My finger touched something really sharp and rough. I got up and tried to find my torch light. I didn't know where I was going. I bumped into my bed and then my desk. I turned around and went to my cupboard. I tripled on the stool and banged into the cupboard. Ukh! I hit my head! I tried to get up. The cupboard vibrated. I looked up and my torch light fell down. I caught it and put it on. I put the light on that sharp thing and saw it was a stone. It had a letter attached to it by string. I took it from it’s string and opened. It said-
Remember! Don’t leave the window open at midnight! They’ll kill you if you do! CLOSE YOUR WINDOW!

My hands shook. They shook so much that the page tore. I looked at the widow and the lightning. The sound of thunder was light big drums rolling down the hill. I could see the trees almost uprooted. My curtain was flying and the glass that was still on the widow cracked. The wind was like a tornado. I shivered. I didn’t know what to do! My curtain tore from the rod and flew away! The wind was sucking everything from inside. I looked out and saw a tree flying every where! My books started flying. I started catching them.
"Need help?" said a voice. I turned sharply and saw that man AGAIN! He grinned and caught a book that was going to fly.
He kept it in my hand and started catching more and putting it back. I started at him. How did he come here? The wind grew worse. The books started fly faster. He got tired of catching them. He groaned. He looked at all the books. I started at him. They stopped moving falling. They stayed in mid-air.Blue light came from his eyes JUST like the other man did on my roof. ‘’cept that blue light came instead of golden. he looked at the books for 5 seconds. They floated in the air. He moved his hands in a strange way and the books followed his hands. He said some language I couldn’t understand and all the books went back to their places obediently. I just stared. "W-W-What are you?" I said looking at his face. "I’m an Aquilte."
