Brutal Battery
This was written by me a while back. I'd really love some input.

Are you watching?
The hollow mind of fragile emotions.
Is there something you want me to say, dear?
I would speak, if only speaking did any good.
From this side, this looks terrible.
What could fix such a job?
Dare I say, nothing could.
My words, flimsy and stuttered, shan't replace or heal thy broken heart.
I hoped, that when I saw you, you'd be pleased with me again, no longer angry.
My hopes were shattered as you walked in with a pale, screwed-up face.
I suppose my reach, was a little stretched.
Please, show me how to heal you.
Show me how to bring your rosy glow back again.
Your hearty, cheerful laugh is something I cannot live without.
I tried so bloody hard not to upset you,
I ended up tearing us apart.
Things are rather bad now, but it will get better, will it not?
My heart would no longer beat, and my eyes would no longer see.
My lungs would give out, and I'd stop breathing if we weren't together.
I do not think that a simple 'sorry' would justify what I have done.
