Brotherly Love part 2

Aria misses her boyfriend dearly and her brother is making things worse for her. Please comment! I know it is going slow but hang tight! The oic is how i pictured Jace... kinda
"How are you, honey?" my boyfriend asked.
"Eh," I grunted, unpacking my things. "I'm still sane. Although, none one has really said much to me since I got here. That's a good thing, though."
Eric didn't seem to care much about what I was saying. "So when can I come visit?" he sounded like a little boy who wanted to visit his grandma.
"Umm..I don't know if you can, love. My dad probably won't like it if I had a boy in our room."
"Our room?"
"Yeah," I sighed, plopping on my bed. "Jace and I have to share a room that's divided by a stupid curtain. I know, it sucks. But I'm going to try to convince Dave to let me move into the attic-- don't worry, I'll redecorate, of course."
"Sweet." he said, still not paying any attention. I could tell he was playing the Kingdom Hearts III video game. Dork.
Eric and I were still chatting when my half--brother entered the room. He had to come into my side of the room because that's where the door is. He didn't say hey or even look at me. We've decided to keep our distance and not even try to communicate.
"So, Aria, are you still coming to the winter dance with me?" Eric asked.
"Of course I am! I wouldn't be anywhere else."
Jace turned on the T.V.-- which was also on my side of the room. He began to watch VH1 where a bunch of girls were cursing at each other like wild animals.
"Yo, BRO," I had to put my hand over my cell phone receiver so Eric couldn't hear me. "I'm on the phone."
"So?" he retorted. I just rolled my eyes and left the room. My half-- brother was so rude.
Since Jace was my half-brother, we didn't really look alike. I had burnette hair that went down to my shoulders and chocolate brown eyes. Jace was about six--three and had dark brown hair with bright blue eyes. All of my girlfriends thought he was a Gothic god. How his hair was flipped to the left side of his face and how his ears were pierced all the way to the top. He also wore dark colors and was very dismissive. But to me, he was just a punk.

The Next Morning
"Hello?" Jace answered his cell phone. "Chase? Hey what's up?"
"Yo, man." His best friend answered. "Did your sister move in yet? I mean, not to sound pathetic or anything."
Jace rolled his eyes. Ever since his friend laid eyes on his snotty little half-sister, he has been obsessed. "Yeah, she has. She's coming to school today. She's going to be in our class."
"Awesome!!!!" Chase hollered.
"Why are you so excited?" Jace wanted to know. The real question he wanted to ask is "Why are you so noisy?" Jace hates it when people get rowdy.
"Because dude," Chase explained. "I think I'm in love with her."
Oh, great, Jace thought. He tried to picture Chase and his sister going out, but for some reason, it made him mad.
"Don't waist your time, C. She ain't worth it."
"Ouch," Chase mocked. "Harsh, man. Anyway, I'm serious. It was love at first sight with her.
"She has a boyfriend," Jace reminded him.
"And? Look, man. After she gets to know me, she'll leave that loser boyfriend of hers. Besides, what Chase wants, Chase gets. And I want Aria."
Something in his voice didn't sound right. What was so special about Aria? She was just some stupid brat who has to make a big deal about everything.
Although Jace thought this, he knew he really didn't feel that way. He didn't know why, but a feeling of keeping his little sister away from boys crept over him. Why was that?
Is this getting good?
