Broken Hearted

Boyfriend who is falling apart because he lost his love…
You hold in tears and all the pain
As your heart shatters once again
Under all the weight
All of her hateful words come back at you
Written as a haunted script
Reverberating in your mind
Taunting and mocking you from the inside
All you can do is coward and hide
Hoping it will all pass and slide
Anticipating a gaping hole

Your heart seems to scream in agony
Crying no more pain!
Thinking nothing can take it away
Praying for a better day
A sun filled meadow
A spring on the side
As the sun gleams
In the watery reprieve

Though your fantasy
Is fresh in your mind
You fall into a black hole
And bleed upon the dark shadowed floor
There you lay upset and fading
There the light flickers dim
Only to fade into a never ending night.
